Best essaouira city beach horse ride experience. - AYOUB was amazing. Very kind, patient and professional. The horses are funny, they look happy and well taken care of. Love the family feel. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful route and great guide! - After the Sidi Kaouki trek of 3 days with our group of friends, we made a separate ride of 3 hours, led by Hamza. This outside ride was incredibly cool! It was a varied ride through woods, dunes and over the beach, with great horses. We enjoyed it, thanks Hamza and Cheval Essaouira!

Perfection! - I went to Morocco for my first solo trip, and I’m so glad I did. I went for a 3-hour trek and a sunset ride(s), and both were absolutely unforgettable. Meeting Mohammed was another highlight — warm, professional, and simply wonderful. He made me feel welcomed and safe from the very first moment. I returned again in the same year because the whole experience felt magical… and the second time was even more so. Mohammed encouraged me to try riding bareback — he gave me just the right amount of courage and spark I needed — and I’ll forever be grateful for that. Thank you so much, Cheval Essaouira. As a horse lover, I'd say definitely! - Last September I enjoyed an outside ride through the woods, dunes and on the beach in the area of Diabat. My guides were HàMza and Ibrahim and both riders showed me the beautiful places and gave me an unforgettable experience. They were kind and patient, they talked about the horses and what we all saw along the way. The horses are well cared for and treated and I was treated with respect. I would definitely recommend them and I will definitely be back at Cheval Essaouira ..❤️🏇

See Morocco from horseback 🤩 - First time doing a riding holiday! First time riding on a beach, so lots of firsts! Moe and Hassan were fantastic guides from beaches to dunes to towns! We did the 3day trek, honestly can say I loved every minute of it, flamingo and Picasso were great rides! Already looking at next years dates! Can’t wait

The best trip, ever. - I found out about Cheval Essaouira through word of mouth/Instagram and was hooked on the thought of going - the trip surpassed my expectations 1000x over! The horses are all exceptionally behaved whilst retaining their speed, responsiveness and personalities. They’re incredibly cared for and you can see the teams real love for the animals - particularly Mohammed. The way he handles and trains them is with experience, precision, love and passion and you truly feel the benefits during your riding. The entire team are friendly, welcoming and incredibly hospitable. The food is immensely delicious and no ask is too much. An unforgettable and incomparable experience but please don’t all book at once or they’ll be no space for my return!

Highly recommended stables - This was a wonderful experience, so glad we did it. Mohammed very kindly swapped the day when we needed to and Sallah was welcoming and kind when he met us at the Jimi Hendrix cafe which gave us a lot of confidence. The stables were clean and tidy, the horses seemed happy and healthy (unlike the ones who have to stay on Essaouira beach all day waiting for rides). Brian took us out for a 3 hour ride along the beach and through the dunes and forest. He took care of us really well and we had a great ride. So much so, I’d love to visit again.

Great ride on the beach. Hassan is a very kind guide. - We were asked to meet in front of the Jimi Hendrix Cafe for 10 am. There is no sign indicating that we are in the right place, which kind of makes one wonder, am I waiting on the right spot? Exactly at 10, Hassan and Hamza show up and walk us down behind the Cafe to the stables. We are causally asked about our riding skills so they can pair us up with an appropriate horse. The matches are mostly good - one rider's horse was a little stubborn. We weaved thru a treed patch and then headed to the beach. Despite it not being sunny, it was amazing. We trotted, cantered, and galloped. Hassan asked several times how we were doing. He also asked for our phones to take pictures of ourselves riding - very gracious. The trek lasted the full 3 hours, ending with a buggy area on the way back. All in all, 4 out 5.

Tragic - My experience at Cheval Essaouira was honestly shocking. The owner was unbelievably arrogant and completely out of control — yelling, disrespectful, and acting in a way no professional should. The behavior was so aggressive and unprofessional that it ruined the entire visit. I left feeling stressed and appalled. I strongly advise people to stay away from this place.
