Arrival & Welcome to the Wild
Ziwani - Upon arriving at Moi International Airport (MBA), guests will be warmly welcomed by a representative or picked up from their hotel/resort. After a brief introduction to the safari, the scenic drive to Voyager Ziwani Camp will commence. The camp is beautifully located on the edge of a secluded dam within a private conservancy adjacent to Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy a welcome lunch at the camp, where guests can immediately start spotting resident hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife from the main area. In the late afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive through the wilderness, returning as the sun sets. Dinner and overnight stay at Voyager Ziwani, accompanied by the sounds of the African night.
Dawn Drives & Nature Walks
Ziwani - Rise early for a magical pre-dawn game drive at 6:00 AM, the optimal time to spot predators as they are most active in the cool morning air. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast, after which guests can relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the bush. Following lunch, trade the vehicle for a guided nature walk. An expert guide will assist in identifying reptiles like crocodiles and monitor lizards, and guests will observe herds of hippos in their aquatic habitat. After dinner, prepare for a completely different experience: a night game drive. With a spotlight, search for nocturnal animals such as bushbabies, genets, and perhaps a hunting predator. Overnight once again at Voyager Ziwani.
