What to do - Great! To do if possible. The prices charged by the hotel are very high. There are providers in town that are more affordable

Amazing Safari - The safari was amazing and we really enjoyed it. Francis was an amazing guide and also just very fun, knowledgable and engaging to chat to throughout the trip. He was determined for us to see all the animals possible on the day and also had binoculars for us to see the lions which weren’t too visible by the road through the Park. Overall, amazing trip and would highly recommend. Vehicle was also great.

A very fun day with an honest trustworthy company that just want to do the best job they can. - It was a great day out, Francis was a wonderful host, we saw elephants, giraffes, hippos, lions the list goes on. It is a very long day but well worth it. In edition to the trip fee there is park entrance fee that needs to be paid of $53 us per person and you have to fill out a form online to do so. It’s not a problem but much easier on a desk top not iPhone. Also watch out for scammers we were given a park guide with our entrance fee and a park guard attempted to charge us $15 for it after we got back in the vehicle and our guide was sorting his entrance pass out. To summarise Francis and Simon are a small friendly and trustworthy company, I would highly recommend them.

Once in a lifetime trip - Francis was an amazing driver and guide navigated a heavy day of traffic flawlessly. Our day in the park was equally amazing as we saw almost every animal we could imagine. To convoys one of elephants and the other of a family of ostrich cross right in our path.

Delightful - Our one-day safari to Tsavo East National Park was absolutely incredible! Even though it was just a day trip, we saw so much — elephants, giraffes, zebras, and even lions lounging under acacia trees. The vast savannah landscapes and red-dust roads gave us that true wild Africa vibe. Our guide was super knowledgeable and had eagle eyes — spotting animals we would’ve missed. He shared fascinating facts about the wildlife and made the whole trip engaging and fun. We had a delicious packed lunch near a watering hole where we could watch animals coming in for a drink. It was such a peaceful and surreal moment. If you’re short on time but still want to experience Kenya’s wild side, I highly recommend the Tsavo East Day Trip. It’s perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone looking to escape the city and soak in the beauty of the wild.

Nice trip shame about the transport - Kenya has poor infrastructure so be prepared for a rough journey to the park and driving standards that will shock most europeans. This wasnt helped by the awful condition of the minivan that transported us and took us around the park. To start with it was grubby in the extreme, it smelled strongly of diesel/petrol fumes, the seat belt in the 1st seat I sat in wouldnt work, I used another seat and that seat belt wouldnt retract so there was 3/4 inches of slack, which seemed rather pointles. When I later tried to open the side sliding door it was stuck and on every occasion had to be opened from the outside, that was very concerning should there be a bad accident or worse, a fire. On the return journey with temperatures in the early 30's I was informed there was no air conditioning so it was an uncomfortable 3 hour journey. Inside the park as expected we were travelling on dirt roads, not meant for a mini van, I expected a rough ride but a 4x4 would have been far more appropriate. We actually got stuck at one point for about 45 mins to an hour and had to be pulled out. I felt for the driver/guide who did his best to get us free but had to resort to a tow out from another vehicle. The guide was great and did his utmost to find game for us, to the extent that we finished later than anticipated as he searched for elephants. Visitors should be prepared for disappointment as far as wildlife is concerned, Tsavo is apparently the largest park in Africa and obviously the search for animals is constrained by their proximity to the roads through it. I have visited Kruger and Etosha in the past and seen much more game than on this trip. The vehicle we had was in the poorest condition I observed of all the others I came across, I would strongly urge tour companies to take safety more seriously, whilst travelling in poorer countries you might expect substandard roads and erratic driving, I would expect a vehicle fit for purpose.

Too expensive and giude/ driver was not interesed in giving a good time. - Driver was 40 mminutes late. Smells of alcohol. On the way to Tsavo East he takes an additional 60 minutes break. Can't recommend this safari with TripAdvisor. I have not seen so few ties on the Dafari and the trip is definitely too expensive.
