Our experience with Blasket Island Sea Life Tours in Dingle was truly unforgettable! The crew was so knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the incredible marine life along Ireland’s stunning coastline. The entire trip was smooth, safe, and filled with excitement from start to finish.
We were lucky enough to see minke whales, bottlenose dolphins, common dolphins, and even seals up close in their natural habitat—it was breathtaking! Watching these beautiful creatures swim beside the boat while surrounded by the dramatic Dingle cliffs and crystal-blue Atlantic waters was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
This tour perfectly combined adventure, beauty, and education. The guides took their time to share insights about the wildlife and the Blasket Islands’ rich history, making the journey even more meaningful.

Sighting wildlife - The boat trip was wonderful. We saw gray seal, minke whale and dolphins.
Being out on the sea was great.

Exhilarating experience - Amazing trip around coast, islands, and seeing sea life. Exhilarating to be on the sea. We were fortunate to see dolphins, seals, a minke whale and lots of sea birds.

Great views - One of our favorite things we did during our time in Dingle. Really liked that they provided waterproof tops/bottoms as well as hats/gloves/scarves if you did not have them. I had jeans and an hoodie on under and was fine for warmth. Our guide/captain gave lots of interesting information to go along with the incredible views. He stops along areas and gives you some history and you’ll have a chance to take some photos. The second portion of the trip is spent more out in the open water so if you get queasy easily just be prepared, it was not very choppy but don’t expect it to be perfectly smooth.

Wonderful trip! - Wonderful trip along the Dingle coastline. The tour operator was very knowledgeable. We saw many animals including seals, lots of dolphins and a minke whale. Our best trip yet!!

A wonderful experience for all ages! - I can thoroughly recommend The Blasket Island Sea Life Rib Tour for a unique and spectacular view of Ireland's Dingle Coast.
We were a bit unlucky with the weather but that only made the Atlantic more beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable and let us take our time when we wanted to.
We took my 80 year old mother with us and she loved it. So, the tour is perfect for any age.
