Perfect tour! - Perfect! We loved seeing everything with great history from ancient to modern times. Steve is warm, personable, and accommodated all our needs and interests. He shared stories that only a local would know plus his expertise and warm style that made us feel comfortable and enthralled by the special qualities of the natural and cultural history of the area. The tour was perfect for us to ask lots of questions, take photos, and explore each area along the way. Many thanks for a special experience we highly recommend.

We spent a perfect morning touring the northern Dingle peninsula with an extraordinary Irish guide - My wife and I unexpectedly had several free hours in Dunquin, outside Dingle. The area is breathtaking but we had no idea how to spend our time enjoying the local area. Our hostess recommended Steve’s because recent guests raved about their bespoke tour with the company. We were able to book our own tour with Steve’s and the experience was delightful. He started by bringing us to Conor Pass to view the majestic views of the landscape and provided us with a fascinating lesson on the history of the local land and cultures that lived there since prehistoric times. We have visited Ireland many times and his engaging and personal warmth helped us to appreciate the events and circumstances that helped to form the classic Irish culture. An objective point of view and a deep knowledge of history, geography and cultures made the entire tour fascinating. After Conor Pass, we traveled through other interesting locations including the Blennerville Windmill and concluded with a tour of Tralee. The best analogy I can think of to describe this experience is to compare it a time we had an Italian expert walk us through a custom tour of Pompei. In each case, we were fascinated, energized and grateful to have enjoyed the time with a guide who was intelligent, warm, attentive and engaging. If we can arrange things, we will come back and book a tour of several-days length for our older children that combines the Ring of Kerry tour and the Dingle tour to take a deeper dive on the history of the region.

Ireland Vacation - My daughter and I had a wonderful experience with Steven from Steve’s Peninsula Tours during our trip to Ireland. Steven met us at the airport promptly and we felt safe right away. He is not only a kind and genuine person, but he was also incredibly flexible and accommodating during our time in Ireland. Steven was able to bring us to the places we wanted to go and he also took the time to introduce us to additional places we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. His recommendations were spot on—one of the highlights being the opportunity for my daughter to hold a baby lamb, which she absolutely loved! Steven truly went above and beyond to make our trip special. We’re so grateful for the experience, and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful, experienced, and personable guide in Ireland.

Amazing tour, even if it is raining - We had a rainy day, which would’ve been a challenge for any other tour guide. Steve was so involved and invested in making sure that we were able to do everything that the weather would permit. I feel like I learned more and had a better time discussing all kinds of topics with Steve then I would have if the weatherhas been funny.

Treat your family to this great tour! - Our family had a wonderful morning with Steve! He wove tales of ancient people and pre-English history with stories of modern history as we visited beautiful and thought-provoking sites all over the peninsula. Our teenage sons had a fantastic time and walked away with a new appreciation of the unique history of the Dingle area. Definitely one of favorite experiences in Ireland!

Look no further than Steve’s Peninsula Tours! - Steve was fantastic! It was a very dreary day, but he kept us entertained for our entire trip around the Dingle Peninsula. If we would have driven it ourselves, we would have never known the rich history of the area. Steve went over and above to make sure we were getting a full tour when though the weather wasn’t ideal!

Must-take Tour - Our group had the best time on our tour of the Dingle peninsula. It was an uncommonly foggy day and Steve was able to give us an excellent and exciting tour even under those conditions. We learned so much and had great conversations. Steve has deep knowledge of the past and present of Ireland and specifically county Kerry. There is no better way to do the Dingle Peninsula than with Steve to guide you through the views and stops off the beaten path.

Steves Peninsula Tour - Steve's tour was, without a doubt, by far the best overall experience we had in Ireland. He was very knowlegable on all topics, answered any and all questions, included extra stops and was flexable and accomodating about our uncertain cruise ship departure. Would highly recommend.

Great day around Dingle peninsula - Even though the weather was sub-par, Steven made our day together very entertaining and informative — he is a local who knows so much history about the peninsula and its heritage, would recommend to anyone staying around Co. Kerry that is looking for a great tour of Dingle/Ring of Kerry. Thanks again Steve!
