Nearby, find a large stone cross, St. Brendan’s House, and enjoy excellent views of the church in its rural setting.
• Slea Head Drive - Journey towards Slea Head, passing the deep-water natural harbor at Ventry, and enjoy breathtaking ocean views as you approach the first stop at Slea Head.
• Cross at Slea Head - In addition to stunning vistas and photo opportunities, take a leisurely stroll along the winding oceanside road for more spectacular views and photography moments.
• Coumeenoole Beach - Coumeenoole Strand is perfect for photography or simply relaxing by the water’s edge. Enjoy the rugged coastline views from the beach at low tide or the pathway down to the sands, a favorite spot for many on the tour.
• Dun Chaoin Pier - The iconic winding path to Dunquin Pier, historically the departure point for Great Blasket Island settlers, is now used by tripper boats. Capture stunning views along the cliff-top paths, with the option to descend the steep path for photos from lower vantage points.
• Dunquin - Travel along single-track lanes to reach a stunning rocky beach with access to a coastal path offering magnificent views of the rugged shoreline and the Blasket Islands in the background.
• Clogher Strand - Pause at Clogher Head en route to Clogher Strand for panoramic views of the Dingle Peninsula’s western edge. This expansive vista also overlooks the 2016 Star Wars filming location. A short distance away is the storm beach at Clogher, accessible depending on the tide, with opportunities to capture beautiful ocean landscapes from the viewing platform above. The area also features secluded rocky beaches and coves, reachable with a brief drive.
