Shangrila-Dongzhulin-Feilaisi
Dongzhulin Temple - The driver and tour guide will collect guests at 8am from their hotel and embark on a 4.5-hour journey to Deqin County, situated at an altitude of 3400m and 187km from Zhongdian. The route passes through the Baimang Snow Mountain Nature Reserve, offering views of Baimang Snow Mountain on clear days, and reaches a peak altitude of 4292m at 156km.
After crossing the mountain ranges, there will be a brief stop for lunch at Benzilan town. Guests can capture photos of the first bend of the Jinsha (Yangtze) River, Dongzhulin Monastery, and Baima (White Horse) Snow Mountain. The journey is enriched with stunning views of diverse trees, streams flowing through the valley, prayer flags, stupas, and Tibetan villages.
Feilaisi National Forest Park - Upon arrival in Deqin, guests will visit Feilaisi. Feilaisi Monastery is a revered site for Tibetans to honor the sacred mountains. It also serves as a hub for various activities and festivals celebrated by local Buddhists. Facing the main peak of Meili Snow Mountain, Kawagebo Peak, it is renowned for its viewing deck, offering breathtaking scenes of the sunrise over snow-capped mountains.

Cizhong-Weixi-Tacheng
Cizhong Church - In the morning, guests will visit the Tibetan Catholic Church, established by French missionaries in 1867. The church is frequented by Tibetan, Naxi, and Lisu people. The original grapevines planted by the missionaries are still present, and traditional wine-making methods are preserved.
Then, the journey continues to Tongle Village in Yezhi Town, a traditional settlement of the Lisu ethnic group. Tongle is one of the oldest Lisu villages in Weixi, with a history spanning nearly 300 years.
After the tour, the drive continues to Tacheng, where guests will check into the hotel for rest.
Tacheng - Shigu - Lijiang
Stone Drum (Shigu) Town - The journey proceeds to the First Bend on the Yangtze River, showcasing impressive gorge scenery. Guests will visit the Iron Chain Bridge and the Red Army’s Long March Memorial Monument in Shigu Old Town. Stone Drum Town derives its name from a large, cylindrical marble tablet resembling a drum.
After the tour, guests will return to Lijiang and check into the hotel for rest.
