10:00 AM – Arrive at Can Gio Mangrove Forest. Discover the local fishing village, learn about the area’s diverse flora and fauna, and embark on a canoe trip to explore the Bat Lagoon, crab pond, and friendly deer. Visit the crocodile farm and try your hand at crocodile fishing from a boat.
Climb Tang Bong Tower for breathtaking panoramic views and stroll across the suspension bridge. During bird nesting season (May–Oct), witness over 10,000 wild birds from 26 different species. Savor a local lunch and unwind.

Start your adventure with a pickup from Ben Thanh Market and travel to Can Gio. Upon arrival, visit the mangrove forest, home to over 1,000 monkeys. Enjoy the chance to feed and take photos with the monkeys, who may even climb on your shoulders.
Next, take a short walk to the crocodile area, where locals preserve many large crocodiles from the “American war.” Here, you can also try “crocodile fishing” (available on weekends at your own expense).
Then, board a speed boat to the “Sac” guerilla camp, nestled deep in the jungle. This camp has become a popular tourist spot, offering a unique glimpse into jungle life during the war. After the tour, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Spend some leisure time at a local seafood market, where you can discover a variety of fresh seafood such as octopus, lobster, ray, and dried foods. Enjoy a swim at the Can Gio Resort next to the market.
