This network of over 200 km of tunnels became legendary during the 1960’s when they played a vital part in the American War, allowing the Viet Cong to control a large rural area close to Ho Chi Minh City. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities.

Well worthwhile experience - Neana was a great guide. Very enthusiastic and passionate about her country.

Great experience, a must do in HCMC - Great experience exploring cu chi tunnels. We had a half day tour led by the tour guide Nina. She gave us a thorough, informative tour of the the history of the tunnel system and it's significance in the Vietnam war. Had some time in the shooting range to shoot 10 bullets for a fee of 600,000 vnd. Included transport and a banh mi sandwich for lunch. Great experience and a must do if you are visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

A great experience, a must! - We experienced the Cho Chi Tunnels with Nina as our tour guide. She was very insightful and helps us learn abut the history of the Vietnam War. For anyone in the Ho Chi Minh City area this your is a must.

No Harmonica? No Problem! Thanh makes cu chi fun! - Thanh was fabulous. He made the trip fun. He opened the environment for us to be ourselves. I didn’t feel like I had to wait to ask questions or be left listening to a sermon about the war. I learned a lot. He discussed the lifestyle at war time in ways we could relate today (aka Nike shoes). We learned a little bit about him as well! I enjoyed it!

Wonderful trip to Cu Chi tunnels with Thanh - We really enjoyed our visit to the Cu Chi tunnels! Thanh was an amazing guide. He is very knowledgeable and shared all about the history of the war. He answered all of our questions. It felt like we were just hanging out with a friend! He was interested in learning from us just as much as we were excited to learn from him! Of course the focus of the tour was the war and the intricate tunnel systems, but Thanh also shared a lot about Vietnamese culture and gave us advice for the rest of our travels.
We recommend others take the tour with Thanh!

An Eye opening to intelligent combat. - Our tunnel experience was very well organised providing a very informative and interactive display to highlight the skills displayed during the Vietnam war. Nancy was absolutely awesome with a balance of humour and facts to create a truly engaging day.

Great day trip to Cu Chi tunnels and suitable for kids - Our leader Nancy was wonderful and engaging from the very start. The tour was really well planned, and the early start made everything so easy with no waiting around. My nine-year-old daughter was completely drawn in by the stories and the way Nancy brought the history to life. For us, she’s a definite 10 out of 10!
