- War Remnants Museum - Previously known as the Museum of American War Crimes, this museum offers a powerful portrayal of the senselessness of war. The ‘Requiem’ exhibit features moving black and white photographs, honoring both international and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who lost their lives during the conflict. It includes the final images captured by these photographers before their untimely deaths. The outdoor courtyard showcases war relics, including rusting jets, tanks, and cannons seized from the American military.
- The Independence Palace - This is a significant landmark in the city. On April 30, 1975, the event known to the Vietnamese as the end of the ‘American War’ occurred here when tank number 843 from the North Vietnamese Army broke through the gates of what was then the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.
- Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral - Constructed between 1877 and 1883, this cathedral is a prime example of classical French colonial architecture. Impressively, every stone used in its construction was transported from France to Vietnam. The Old Post Office, another example of French colonial architecture, is also the largest post office in the country.
- Saigon Opera House (Ho Chi Minh Municipal Theater) - Built by the French at the end of the 19th century and renovated in the 1940s, this exquisite example of colonial architecture is a prominent landmark in the heart of Saigon.

Wonderful tour company - Amazing tour and tour leaders - very well prepared for any eventuality - coping with one person (there’s always one in every crowd) who was a bit of a rebel but they handled it professionally. I highly recommend this company.

Professional, serious and formal - Formal and serious enterprise. We hired a Spanish speaking guide paying extra and it was great. 100% recommended. They can make tailor-made tours, also for cruises pick you up at the port.

Private Tour of Vietnam - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Nguyễn Dơn (Vietcam Holidays Co. Ltd.).
I initially planned my private tour to Vietnam as a solo female traveler from the USA. I spend 15 nights in Vietnam traveling south to north.
I received prompt responses and tailored itinerary to meet what I wanted to see and do.
Don handled an unexpected addition of 3 people to my itinerary with ease and modified the itinerary to meet the additional travelers needs.
When I arrived communication was constant through WhatsApp or Messenger. His quick responses and reliable information built my trust in him.
He provided me a Vietnam SIM card upon my request and had it with my driver upon pickup.
I felt comfortable making requests and asking for advice before and during my trip.
Don’s travel coordinator helped to get my father an emergency visa within 3 hours.
If I had gone on my trip to Vietnam truly solo as I had initially planned I would have felt safe in Don’s care.
I plan to utilize his services for an upcoming trips 😁

Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong River Tour - Don met us when we arrived in Chau Duc off our fast ferry service from Phnom Penh. Very affable and easy to get on with from the start. All through our tour he imparted knowledge and general information and also seemed to enjoy showing us around. Always on time and usually with a ready smile. Also good company. He picked a couple of restaurants out for our evening meal and we were very pleased with them both. I can highly recommend him as either a guide for a few days or a city tour around Ho Chi Minh.
