Two thumbs up - The tour was worth it. I learned a lot about Vietnam’s history and culture. Our tour guide Phong was so good, aside from being handsome, he’s informative.

Fun in the Mekong Delta - Really enjoyed our trip. We live in Ho Chi Minh City and had some friends from the US visiting and wanted to show them a true Vietnam experience. This tour was more than we expected. Our guide, Thanh, was very knowledgeable, friendly, had great stories about Vietnam and the sites we visited. History and language lessons were very informative. The Chu Phat Danh Ton Temple with the Standing Buddha, Sitting Buddha and Sleeping Buddha is impressive, great first stop. The lunch with the "Elephant Fish" was fun and tasty. Always love a good boat ride! Nice sized group, not too large yet fun to meet new people from other parts of the world. Highly recommend this tour!

Day tour with Ralf Dittko - We stayed with the Mein Schiff 6 in Asia & had a great day with Ralf Dittko. In the run-up to the trip, the communication was great, his program increased the anticipation of getting to know new things. From the organization/implementation/punctuality...everything was just right. Thank you so much for the lovely day. Jörg & Conny

Great day trip from Ho chi min city (Saigon) - This is a well organized visit, they showed up on time, all activities were well coordinated, we visited local communities and different places. The van that took us there was large and clean. We used different kinds of transportation during the day (van, larger boat, smaller boat, canoe, tuk tuk, etc and it was great. I do recommend it.

Fabulous Day - A fantastic day. Tim our guide was excellent, charming, very knowledgeable and also entertaining. We were looked after really well and enjoyed the excursions. This included a visit to a temple, then on to the river where we were taken by boat to a small coconut sweet producer. Another tiny boat took us through the mangrove inlets to a spot for lunch, then on by hand rowed boat to a beautiful spot for tea, fruit and local entertainment. A further boat trip back up the river to our awaiting bus. All in all a very enjoyable day. Cam on Tim

Tourist trap - Pick up from hotel was on time. Drive to Mekong Delta was good, stopped for coffee and a toilet break at a nice place. I will say, that everything felt a bit rushed and every stop such as the honey farm and the coconut candy factory felt like a way to make people spend money. At the honey farm we were presented with many different products and the woman who worked there seemed very annoyed that we did not buy anything. On one of the boat rides, the woman asked for tips as did her colleagues as we passed them on the river which felt inappropriate. We were asked by other people for tips as well along the way which is always very strange but seems to be common in Vietnam. What was most disturbing and disappointing for the whole trip was the crocodiles and snakes that are in over crowded pits all on top of each other, some with deformities, on display for people to feed. There is also a pond with a bunch of cat fish that all swarm on top of each other and are obviously starving and tourists can feed them and watch them all desperately get the food. We arrived back in Ho Chi Minh very ahead of schedule so I felt we could have had longer at some of the sites. The booking also says that we get dropped back off at our hotel but only some people were dropped off and some of us were told they would only take us to a market and we would have to make our own way back to our accomodation which is was annoying. The bus ride was extremely hot and you are sitting very close together so make sure you are prepared for that.
