Had a great time visiting... - Had a great time visiting the Delta. The highlights were boating around the little inlets of the river to see how the locals lived and riding around the streets before having a delicious lunch. A must do from Ho Chi Minh

Amazing and informative tour - Our tour guide Dana was amazing! With her extensive knowledge and sense of humor she made this tour even better than we imagined. While the floating markets are dwindling, the rest of the tour makes up for it. Drink the snake wine. It’s delicious.

Great tour and guide - If you want to get closer to some of the Vietnamese culture, this trip is definitely recommended. Our guide “David” was a fun and informative guide who showed us around the market, on the river, out on a small island where we heard Vietnamese folk music, took us with ro-boats around the small canals, let us taste the local food - including Snakewine - and rode with us on bikes along the river. A fantastic day that gave insights and experiences. Can be recommended if you are looking for something more authentic.

This was one of the best tours I've... -
This was one of the best tours I've been on. It was great to escape the busy city and see what life is like for people who live on the river. Our guide told us a lot of interesting things about day to day life in Vietnam. And the food and snacks are delicious, so be hungry!

Very nice! - We did this tour on February 12th and were very excited. Our tour guide "Finn" was totally great. Young, enthusiastic, spoke excellent English and had many exciting stories and anecdotes to tell. We had a lot of fun. We were picked up from the hostel on time in an air-conditioned car and driven to the port. Finn had a lot to tell along the way and we were able to ask a lot of questions. Very casual and funny. The program has already been described too much:) We can recommend it for getting started. If you don't feel like "tourikram", you shouldn't book such trips anyway:) they are very touristy. We really liked it! Thank you, Finn:)

Journey to Mekong delta - Very nature filled area. They bring you to a garden to see different types of plants. Then they brought us to a place where they thought us how make rice paper. Then they brought us to eat lunch. The lunch we had was fish, pork, and wraps. After which they brought us to a bee breeding area where they sold us honey etc. Then they brought us to an area where they made coconut sweets. The coconuts there is a must try, as they were naturally really sweet when compared to other coconuts. Then they showed us how to make the sweets. There was also a horse ride on the way to the the row boat ride. Then we stopped for a quick break we here we bought drinks such as sugar cane juice. We had a good nature sight seeing during the row boat. Then we headed back to the boat to get to the bus back to ho chin ming city which was a two hour long journey . We went to this location via TheSinhTourist agency at the price of 219k Vietnam dong per person.

If you are in Ho Chi Minh City it must be done - Excursion with about four hours by bus. Departure around 7.30am and travel in a comfortable van. Stops at a large souvenir shop of decent workmanship. Arrived in Cai Be sailing on the Mekong by motor boat. Moored on the edge of the river visit to a farm where traditional food and good rice cakes are produced. Usual tourist place where you can buy junk and taste the liquor with black cobra (flavor only alcoholic). Pleasant rowing boat ride through the tropical green concluded by discreet lunch and Vietnamese singing show and possibility of a bike ride. Return at about 17.30 to Saigon. All interesting, nothing extraordinary, a day more than enough to get an idea of life on the Mekong.

Mostly disappointing. - A long and bumpy two hour drive to get to the Mekong Delta and the Floating Market (and back again!) Was hoping to see more of the Delta and the floating market was pretty much non-existent! Only a few boats left doing nothing! At least our guide explained why but still very disappointing. Only saved by the cooking class and the food after! That was better!
