Great scooter tour and info about Vietnamese culture and history - My partner and I did a private scooter tour of Ho Chi Minh City with Harry and Eli and had a great time! They were both super interesting, knowledgeable and friendly and had great English, which was really nice because it allowed us to have great conversations and learn a lot about Vietnamese culture and history. Ho Chi Minh City was our last stop in Vietnam so we had done our fair share of tours before this one, but this is probably the one where we learned the most and best information about Vietnam and its culture, history, politics etc. It was really nice! It was raining and rush hour when we did our tour but raincoats were provided and Harry and Eli did a great job of driving in the madness! A few of the stops that were initially listed on the itinerary were pretty quick or only in passing, not really a stop (Independence palace, Cambodian market, post office) but the tour covers a lot of ground (and it was rush hour so lots of road traffic) so we still felt like it was worth it and we got a lot of information at the other spots we visited. They also brought us to a local lunch spot since we hadn’t had a chance to eat before the tour and the food was amazing!! Overall it was a great tour and we would definitely recommend it, Ho Chi Minh City is big and busy so scooter was a great way to see it! Ps., if you’re booking through Guruwalk and select the option of having a driver for the scooter, the tour is private and a fixed price that includes everything (as opposed to a tip-based “free” tour), otherwise if you want to self drive they also offer scooter rental for a fee + the tour will be a group tips-based tour. I believe you can also book the same tour through Airbnb. We booked ours through Guruwalk just a few hours before our tour and Ben was very responsive over WhatsApp to organize everything for us on very short notice, thanks so much!

So much fun! - Saigon Taste Tours offers an unforgettable city tour experience with female guides wearing the traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai. The tour is not only affordable but also rich in culture, history, and hidden gems that many tourists often miss. Riding on the back of their motorbikes, we explored the vibrant streets of Saigon while learning so much about the city’s past and present. Our guides, Emmmi and Jasmine, were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and super friendly. They made us feel safe, welcomed, and entertained throughout the journey. It was more than just a sightseeing trip – it was a deep cultural connection. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to see the real Saigon!

A Must-Do Tour in Saigon: History, Hidden Gems, and the Best Noodles of the Trip - Absolutely fantastic tour! Lily was a thoughtful and informative guide, generously sharing her deep understanding of Vietnam’s history and culture as we navigated the vibrant streets of Ho Chi Minh City. Some of the highlights for me included hearing the powerful story behind the burning monk memorial, wandering through the tucked-away market alleys, and getting a front-row seat to the traditional coffee-making process at one of Saigon’s oldest cafés. The lunch stop was also a treat—Hu Tieu noodles in a rich, flavorful broth that really hit the spot. I only wish I had taken this tour earlier in my visit!

Best city tour - I had an amazing time exploring the history of Saigon on a motorbike. Visiting this city has been on my list for a while, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I even got to try the oldest coffee shop and the best noodle shop in Saigon—loved it! I highly recommend this tour—especially with Yudan, who was an incredible guide. He shared the city’s history in such a clear and engaging way and made sure we visited all the spots I wanted to see. Thank you, Yudan! You’re truly the best!

One of the Best Guides I’ve Ever Had – A Hidden Gem in Saigon Himself! - After 10 days in Vietnam, Daniel’s Hidden Gems of Saigon tour completely changed how I saw the city. He’s warm, insightful, and incredibly knowledgeable—especially about Vietnam’s history, culture, and cuisine. His narration of the war and the story of the Buddhist monk who self-immolated was deeply moving and unforgettable. He also introduced me to authentic local food I hadn’t dared to try before. Daniel is young but wise beyond his years, with a rare social awareness and passion. If you’re in Saigon, don’t miss this tour. He made my trip truly meaningful.

Excellent choice for anyone who likes to experience and learn about HCMC - Join the scooter tour with Yudan as the guide. Please be aware that there is a set fee for the scooter rental. As I picked the option where the guide is my driver (instead of driving my own scooter), Yudan came to the doorstep of my hotel to start the tour. Despite there were small hiccups in the beginning and at the end of the tour, Yudan was very engaging, knowledgeable, and personable. The tour is relaxing and full of surprises and we visited some unique places where you don't find in any YouTube video. Yudan is an excellent guide and this is an excellent tour.

Highly recommended alternative to get to know Ho Chi Minh Ciry - Harry and Ban as our guides on the scooter made a great city tour with us. Both have driven very safely and proactively through Saigon's traffic. We never felt uncomfortable and would have liked to continue with them even the rest of the day. Harry as the main guide told a lot of historical stories in his easy-to-understand English at each of our stops. Ban told the emotional story of the burning monk at his memorial. The shared coffeehouse for six (our group was wonderfully small, we loved it) by the secret bunker was nice, the coffee purchase is then at the same time the entrance to the house bunker. In China Town we learned about Vietnam's past with the Chinese. A highly recommended city tour!!
