Set the standard, cooking classes rock! - Great fun, surprisingly chaotic in a good way, highly recommend! We had an excellent experience here, would recommend to everyone even if you're not particularly interested in cooking. You make everything yourself, except the Pho that's kind of special, and then you can have a homemade cocktail or beers to wash it down. Great vibes, and you get a little cookbook at the end which is quality, something you would buy in shop, which was a very nice touch. Since doing this cooking class, we've been doing cooking classes in every country we visit, it really set the standard. Best way to spend your time and learn something in the process.

Fun Immersive Cooking Class - Fun and informative experience. Chef was careful that we all followed along at each cooking station and that we understood instructions. The food was great and representative of some of the most common dishes we've ecountered. The only thing I would change is that it got pretty warm and AC was not sufficient to cool down the room where the class was held since we all had fires going. Perhaps adding another AC or more powerful AC would help.

Fun, informative and confident to cook the menu myself. - I enjoyed the visit to the wet market and learnt lots about the ingredients. The instructions were clear, the instructor and tips to make a perfect spring roll. A fun experience.

Ben Thanh Market and Cooking experience - We were meet at the market and split into two groups which made it easier to wander around. We expected to shop for the ingredients but were a little disappointed that we didn’t have to purchase anything. On arrival we rejoined the order group and were given a refreshing drink. Then we started the cooking class which included three different dishes. However, we thought we were going to be eating after all the dishes had been completed but we ate a dish one at a time. This meant that we at our first course at about 11 am as we had the morning class. The experience overall was great and the chef knowledgeable about the cuisine. At the end of the class it does state that you will be taken back to the start point but this did not happen to our group and you had to make your own way back.

Good instructions - An interesting time going through the markets but the cooking class was the highlight. Sarah was patient and informative. Her step by step instructions easy to follow. I would definitely do this class again

Super Recommended 100% - Spectacular experience! Thank you chef Bi for your beautiful energy and everything you taught us! Since the walk through the market, getting to know new ingredients and learning about Vietnam’s gastronomic culture, it has been fortunate to have found them! In the kitchen we were taught new tricks, flavors and smells, we learned to make spring rolls, caramel pork belly and dancing piss! The dishes were amazing! We leave very happy with a piece of Vietnam in the heart ❤️

Excellent Vietnamese Cooking Class - This is a fantastic introduction to Vietnamese cooking. Our chef teacher was excellent. We made spring rolls, sizzling steak tips, and pho ga soup. All the students each their “class work” at the end. This is a great value.

Wet market tour was great - Bi was informative and knowledgeable - the tour and cooking instruction was great. He knew everything that needed to be said and done, he gave us a great tour and explanation of the market. The cooking class itself was good, I would have liked to be more hands on. Lots was already done for us that made it uninteractive. It was bad by any means and the food was delicious. I would have just liked to have done more. Thanks for the cookbook btw

Ok, but disorganized - The actual food and cooking class was good (and the food was pretty delicious!) However: - the tour starts with a visit to the market which felt unnecessary. I thought we were picking the ingredients but really it felt like they have a deal with some stands and took you there so later you come back to buy things - generally speaking quite disorganized.. there was confusion where we're meant to meet, who was meant to pay for th taxi to th cooking class etc - also, not the best for vegans/vegetarians. In the market you walk through the meat section.. and the vegetarian version of the dishes wasn't as good - lastly, we didn't know what food we would be making.. it would be nice to know it

Beware..... - Beware if you arrive by cruise ship. It is 1 1/2 hour drive from the port to the meeting point!! Despite my multiple emails 2-3 days before the tour requesting pick up information, we did not receive the specific details until 7:30 am on the day of the tour which started at 9 am!!!!. We were told to find a taxi to the meeting point. We decided to skip the tour. I would Viator to refund at least a portion of the tour cost due to the lack of timely communication on getting to the meeting point.
