Let the “102 Saigon District Tour” take on that “lofty” mission.

Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral - We’ll pass by Notre Dame Cathedral, the most iconic church in Saigon, as your guide shares its history and significance. In the evening, the area is beautifully lit and is a popular photo spot among young locals.
-
Nguyen Thien Thuat Apartment Buildings - We begin at Chuoi Nep Nuong Vo Van Tan, located in District 3, one of the city’s most unique districts. This vendor occupies a small street corner where a local family has been preparing a mixed Vietnamese-Cambodian dish called “Chuoi Nep Nuong” or “Banana Grilled with Sticky Rice” for over four decades. Next, we’ll explore the heart of District 3 and visit the Nguyen Thien Thuat Apartment Buildings Area, home to dozens of famous Vietnamese street foods that will tempt your taste buds. Here, you’ll enjoy original Bun Bo Hue, a unique recipe that takes approximately 8-10 hours to craft a rich broth combined with beef slices, pork sausage, and vibrant onion and spicy coriander. This food stop is owned by a local with over 25 years of experience from Hue (central Vietnam). Then, stroll along a street known for its barbecue seafood vendors and head to a local-favorite restaurant to taste the best “Bò Lá Lốt” (Beef in Wild Betel Leaves).
-
Ho Thi Ky Flower Market - A street food paradise awaits. You will watch “Bánh Xèo” and “Bánh Khọt” being made in front of you. Originating from the Mekong Delta in the western part of Vietnam, “Banh Xeo” gets its name from the sizzling sound it makes when cooked on a hot pan. Then, take a stroll, trying Bo Nuong Sa– BBQ grilled pork wrapped in lemongrass. Next, try the traditional Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich before enjoying a refreshing sugar cane drink. Next on your food adventure is a visit to the Khmer market (next to Ho Thi Ky) where you will sit like the locals and enjoy Vietnamese pizza (a student favorite). Relax, have a Saigon beer (or jasmine tea), and listen to your student guides share their local life stories.
-
Chinatown (Cho Lon) - District 5 - Our last stop is Che Mam Khanh Vy, Vietnamese Sweet Soup. The owner has 45 years of experience selling traditional Che in Saigon. It’s located under an old apartment (part of Chinatown) in District 10.
-
Cau Ba Son - At the end of the food tour, we’ll enjoy a short scenic ride across Ba Son Bridge to Thu Thiem, then loop back for a panoramic view of District 1’s skyline. It’s a relaxing way to take in Saigon’s modern side and riverfront views before the tour concludes.
-
Ho Chi Minh City - The journey concludes with a ride back to your hotel or drop-off spot (within Districts 1, 3, 4, 5 & 10). Looking forward to your next trip! Love you!
