A Wonderful Cu Chi Tunnels Experience with Linda - Linda was a wonderful guide during our visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. The group was small, which made the experience very personal, and she took great care of everyone throughout the tour. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely pleasant to spend time with. A very enjoyable and well-organised experience — highly recommended.

Cu Chi Ben Duoc Tunnel - We had a fantastic experience at the Cu Chi Tunnels. The logistics (pick up from hotel) were seamless, and the site itself is a must-see for anyone visiting Vietnam. Our guide, Ken, was exceptional. His English is perfect, and his perspective on the history of the area was insightful and balanced. We had plenty of time for photos and questions without feeling rushed. Crawling through the tunnels was a particular delight. Highly recommend this tour.

Exceptional Cu Ch Day Trip with Linda – Highly Recommended - Fantastic private tour to Cu Chi Ben Duoc and the War Remnants Museum. We had an amazing day exploring both sites, and our guide Linda was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we met her, she was friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole experience feel personal and engaging. At Cu Chi Ben Duoc, Linda explained the history clearly and walking us through the tunnels, traps and exhibits at a perfect pace. It was fascinating to see the less touristy part of Cu Chi and learn so much from someone who knows the area so well. We also took advantage of the optional shooting range, followed by the War Remnants Museum. The whole day ran smoothly, the transport was comfortable and we never felt rushed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an informative and well-organised tour.

Following the Trails - Our trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels was absolutely fantastic, thanks largely to our amazing guide Tony from Hana Tours. They were incredibly knowledgeable, able to communicate effectively in English, and shared compelling stories and insights that made the history feel personal and real, rather than just facts from a textbook. The tour was paced perfectly, never feeling rushed, and we appreciated the opportunity to see the various living quarters, traps, and even try the shooting range. A highly recommended, top-tier experience.

Once in a lifetime experience - Cu Chi Tunnel tour was an unexpected experience. Love our tour guide, Ken, he made our experience more meaningful by sharing the History of Vietnam War and the importance of the tunnel and some gruesome traps. We traveled in small group of 10 people and avoided other bigger tour groups. It was a 2hrs drive from Ho Chi Minh City to our destination. Admission fee is included in the package. However, if you want to experience firing a machine gun, you have to buy bullets at 70,000 each, minimum 10 bullets. Word of advice: Ensure you have strong legs to get you through the 50 meters tunnel.

Skip this scam - We booked this tour because it was advertised as the “less-touristy option.” Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite, and it ended up being one of the poorest uses of our time in Vietnam. • 2.5 hours on a bus each way A very long ride for what was ultimately a very limited on-site experience. • Unnecessary 20-minute stop at a lacquer factory “rest area” This had nothing to do with the tunnels — it was a blatant shopping stop serving pizza, spaghetti, and lacquerware. About 10 other minibuses were parked there at the same time. Pure tourist funnel. • Once at the museum, everything felt shallow It’s an open-air museum, where we were rushed from display to display. • Heavy emphasis on the shooting range upsell. • Key features on site were skipped entirely We didn’t see: – the river tunnel exits – the war memorial – bomb craters When nobody wanted to shoot and I asked if we could use that time to visit the memorial, the guide claimed we “needed permission” to go there — which is simply untrue. It’s a public site. • The tunnel sections feel overly artificial Every tunnel accessible to tourists was coated in concrete, brightly lit, and equipped with air pumps. It’s a reconstruction, not anything resembling the historical tunnels. • Staff engagement was poor One museum employee guiding the tunnels was helpful. The 10+ others standing around were all on their phones. • The mannequin scenes were unconvincing The “underground” surgery room staged with plastic tarps and a nylon camouflage gazebo (underground!) felt completely unrealistic and disconnected from the environment. • Time on-site was shockingly short After spending only 75 minutes at the site, we were asked to return to the minivan — despite having travelled 5 hours round-trip. • Only two parts stood out The trap demonstrations and the tapioca tasting — but these alone do not justify the travel time or the sense of being herded like tourist cattle, which we tried to avoid by booking this tour. Overall, this was disappointing, overly commercial, and misrepresented. I would not recommend it in its current form. The war remnants museum in Ho Chi Minh City on the other hand is excellent.
