So good we’ve been twice - Our second time taking this excursion while on a cruise docked in Amber Cove (Puerta Plata). The monkeys are adorable. The staff at the facility are amazing - great with the animals and visitors. They will try to sell you cigars and jewelry but aren’t too pushy. The drivers were wonderful. Very easy to find our tour guide at the port and they had someone ready to drive us back to the ship. Very doable in 3 hours while in port.

Monkey encounter - Awesome! Guides were amazing working with the monkeys. All seemed to enjoy. I would definitely do it again. Different from anything found in the United States

Private with the Skull Monkeys - This was a very nice private experience just for us as a family, alone an hour with the skull monkeys. Thank you very much!

Amazing - This was a surprise excursion I booked for my wife. We both really enjoyed it. Darwin was an excellent guide. We never felt rushed anywhere we went and he was extremely knowledgeable about many different things regarding the Dominican Republic and the areas we went to. My wife and I plan on returning to the Dominican Republic again one day and plan to book another excursion with this same agency, and we hope to have Darwin be our guide again. He went above and beyond with every task he had and he is a wonderful guide. Any company would be blessed to have him work there. My wife and I also appreciated Supermario at the Monkey Home property as well. He made sure everyone was happy and comfortable, and we appreciated him giving everyone plenty of time to play with the monkeys. It was such a wonderful experience.

Cute Little Monkey’s! - Fun, nice guides and driver. We spent a lot of time at the first gift shop, which had the typical souvenirs. Then we were rushed through Umbrella Street, we didn’t have time to even get an empanada. When getting to the monkeys, the hosts were fun and the monkeys were adorable. The grouped us with a group of 17 and it was so many people there wasn’t enough room. We didn’t get to sit together as a family. They helped us get a quick family photo before we finished. Glad we did it but we wouldn’t do again.
