- The Pearl Island - The Pearl-Qatar is a renowned mixed-use urban development project, featuring architecturally distinct precincts of world-class design. Situated on 4,000,000 sqm of reclaimed land, it spans 32 km of seafront off the coast of Doha’s West Bay and can house 50,000 residents.
- State Grand Mosque - Qatar’s national mosque is the largest in the country, boasting a striking architectural design with a grand fort-like appearance and numerous domes on its roof. At night, these domes are illuminated in white, visible from miles away from Doha’s tall buildings. The mosque accommodates 30,000 worshippers in its grand white prayer hall, adorned with red carpets and simple chandeliers.
- The Corniche - This seven-kilometre waterfront promenade stretches along the entire length of Doha Bay, offering breathtaking views of the city, from the dramatic high-rise towers of the central business district to the bold shapes of the Museum of Islamic Art. Traditional wooden dhows lining the Bay echo Qatar’s rich seafaring history. The Corniche provides a green, vehicle-free pedestrian space in the heart of the capital, featuring cafes, restaurants, outdoor exercise facilities, and a running track.
- National Museum of Qatar - The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) is dedicated to bringing to life the unique story of Qatar and its people. It actively showcases the nation’s rich heritage and culture and highlights Qatar’s extensive network of ties with other nations and people worldwide. Designed as a vibrant and immersive space, it allows diverse communities to come together and experience Qatar’s past, present, and future.
- Souq Waqif - This lively complex is undoubtedly one of the most atmospheric places to explore in Qatar. Built on an ancient market site, it remains the social heart of Doha. Centuries ago, Bedouins would bring their sheep, goats, and wool here to trade for essentials. The entire market area has been skillfully redeveloped to resemble a 19th-century souq, with mud-rendered shops and exposed timber beams, along with some authentic and beautifully restored original Qatari buildings.
