Unforgettable experience - Night tour in the desert of doha was super fun and beautiful, we were 4 people our taj guide was very helpful and was very nice, made us have a lot of fun. We would recommend.

Best activity in Qatar - Wadood was an excellent guide and so friendly! This was definitely the best thing I have done during my time in Qatar. I woukd recommend to anyone who wants to go out and explore the other scenes available here. I would do this again if I am ever lucky to come back!

Worth it - Mishal was great. He was communicative as we got picked up and brought us back in time for our flight. We did the sand boarding and camels on a long 10hoir layover and it was worth it.

Sandboarding in Qatar! - We had a great time in the Night Desert Safari! Wadood was an amazing guide and we had so much fun. The highlights were the Sand Dune Bashing and the Sand Boarding. Definitely recommend !

Unforgettable Night Desert Safari with Wadood - Our night desert safari with Wadood was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Qatar. From the moment we met him, he was incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. You could tell he was passionate about what he does, and he made sure we felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. The camel ride under the evening sky was peaceful and surreal — something we’ll never forget. Later, we had the chance to stargaze in complete silence, away from the city lights, and Wadood shared fascinating facts about the desert and the stars above us. It was magical. This experience will stay with us forever. If you’re looking for a meaningful and memorable desert safari, I can’t recommend Wadood enough. Thank you for such a beautiful evening!

Desert safari - Had a very nice tour with Wadood. Best tour guide. Felt very safe and he was very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend! Was my first time camel riding, star gazing and seeing the desert!

Sand, Sea and Stars - Our guide Wadood was friendly and gave us good insight into the desert culture! Enjoyed this tour. This tour is suitable for solo travellers as well as family. I did a group tour! Best to download a star gazing app to see all the constellations in the sky.

Tourist Trap but still a lot of fun - I have mixed feelings about this experience. Overall it was lots of fun and worth doing- really enjoyed riding camels and that was our main reason for booking, but it’s only about 10 minutes of the whole tour (which I knew going into it). The dune bashing was fun and our driver Karim was very experienced and I felt very safe with him as a driver. We got to see the sunset over the dunes which was pretty. The inland sea was cool but we spent maybe five minutes there. Most of our time was spent in the car driving which I wasn’t quite as expecting. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was because of the weird booking experience. I chose this tour because I wanted something late in the day and it said it was a private tour. The morning of I was contacted and was told I would be picked up at 2:40 instead of the 4pm time I booked and that we were picking up another couple to come with us. I was confused because I thought I booked a private tour at 4pm. When I questioned the guide he was very nice and said he would contact his boss. Eventually another driver contacted us and said it would be private but he still wanted to do the tour at 3pm, not 4pm like I booked. 3pm ended up being a good time for the sunset but it was weird that they let me choose my time but still insisted on doing it earlier than I picked. Why not just make the only option on Viator be 3pm? In addition, I think if I hadn’t questioned them about the private tour that we would have been stuck with another group. I think that would have been unfortunate because I probably would’ve been stuck in the back of the car and I get very car sick so the dune bashing would have been horrible for me. I kind of feel like this company is advertising things on Viator and then changing things up day of- I would question them day of to make sure it’s private and be aware they may change the time on you. The first stop was also weird- they gave us tea and we sat in the heat near where other people were renting atvs. They tried to get us to rent atvs for an additional cost and we said no. It was obvious this was the only reason for the stop so that should be cut out completely if that isn’t something we wanted from the beginning. Also at the end the driver requested we write a review on trip advisor. It was a little awkward as we were all sitting in the car and he was just waiting for us to write the review. He never asked to see what we were rating it so I suppose I could have done a bad review, but it felt awkward and I felt pressured to give a good review. Overall I would do this experience again but just be aware it all feels like a bit of a tourist trap.
