• Camel Race Track - Camel racing is a significant event in Qatar, so much so that there is a dedicated TV channel broadcasting camel races both locally and internationally. The Al-Shahaniya racing track, located an hour’s drive north of downtown Doha, hosts races from November to February, featuring both national and international tournaments. Visitors are welcome to visit the track daily at 9:30 am or around 5:30 pm to watch the camels practice, even when no races are scheduled.
• Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum - This privately owned museum is situated in the AlShahaniya area of Qatar. Opened in 1998, it spans an area of 530,000 m² and comprises three buildings. The museum features 15 rooms with over 15,000 artifacts collected by Sheikh Faisal over 50 years. The collection is categorized into four main sections: Islamic Art, Vehicles, Coins and Currency, and Traditional Artifacts from Qatar, each displayed in themed rooms.
