Great experience! - I really enjoyed this half day experience. I met Amori at 9am and she took me through some guided meditation. We did meditation and talked about it afterwards.
We did yoga and then had a really nice lunch cooked by the chef there.
The location is lovely it’s like a little sanctuary and I got the chance to have a 10 Minute walk around it.
After lunch we spent time at the beautiful nearby temple. Amori was able to tell me lots I didn’t know about the temple, the drawings within it, the monks and Buddhism.
This was a really special and educational experience and I would recommend it.

New to meditation and Yoga - We had been craving this type of experience while we were in Thailand and Amori’s half day experience at her studio fit the bill. The space was lovely and peaceful, lunch was great and Doisacket Temple was beautiful. Highly recommend this for beginners and newbies who want to learn a little about meditation and Buddhism in practice with a local.

Wonderful experience!! Must try! If you can, do the overnight option! - This was a beautiful day. Amori was a lovely informative host. She starts with teaching walking meditation then sitting meditation. She is patient, kind and really expands on the teachings and lessons behind the different methods which I think are lost in the Western world. I was new to yoga and she provided instruction for modified and advanced members. Lunch is provided. Amori also brings you to the local temple and taught us so much about the teachings and traditions of Buddhism. Truly a special day. You can also stay for multi day experience. This will be a must for the future. Some people staying onsite had been there multiple times and I see why. What an oasis in a crazy world. You can get a Grab to and from @300 baht each way. Also bring sweatshirt and socks, the mornings can be brisk. Don’t miss this opportunity!

This was such a well... - This was such a well rounded day and experience. We started with walking meditation, then sitting meditation. We learned so much about life, tolerance and perseverance. From there we did an hour long yoga session which pushed us and stretched us both physically and mentally. This was followed with a trip to the temple that was truly humbling and life changing. This was a day we will never forget!

meditation & so much more - Amorie was an excellent host for this (more than) half day packed with meditation (seated & walking), rigorous yoga and beautiful, delicious lunch on a peaceful property 30 mins outside Chiang Mai. We then had a personalized tour of Doi Suket temple where Amorie showed us how to pray, interpreted Buddhist paintings, and encouraged donations/alms to the temple on our behalf. She even kindly made change for me to give my Grab driver on arrival, and directed us safely to the minibus to return to the city. A great, peaceful experience…Khap khun kha!

Kind, Gentle, Knowledgeable Guide. - As this was our first meditation/yoga retreat, we did not know what to expect. Amori is a kind, gentle, and knowledgeable guide. Her home/studio is located in a peaceful jungle setting. The sounds were intoxicating. We learned a new perspective of meditation - one that cultivates acceptance and release. The food, prepared by a family member was so incredibly satisfying. We both really enjoyed the visit to Doi Saket. Amori shared with us many interesting facts, traditions, insights on Buddhism.
Thank you Amori for sharing your gift with us. Many blessings, Christine and Cory

Would recommend to anyone interested in meditation and learning about the culture. - Amori was amazing! Very knowledgeable, great teacher and taught us everything at a perfect pace. I am a beginner at yoga, so I did not know as much and struggled a little bit, however the meditation was perfect for any skill level. My most favorite part was the cultural immersion and visit to the local temple where I really feel like I learned a lot and was able to appreciate Thailand and the culture.

A meaningful and unique experience in Chiang Mai - Amori is an excellent meditation, yoga and cultural immersion teacher. I really enjoyed this unique experience, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The walking meditation and sitting meditation was very calming and just what I needed to switch off my busy mind. The yoga was a good, physical workout and I felt rewarded by the beautifully presented and delicious lunch afterwards! After lunch, Amori took us to two temple locations and gave a us a guided tour and talk about buddhism and the temple rituals. Amori was helpful in organising shared transport to and from my hotel. It was lovely to share a ride with other participants - a way to get to know others and save on transport costs. Thank you Amori, for sharing your knowledge, practice and culture with us. I am inspired by your dedication and Buddhist/Thai culture. It is definitely a fantastic, authentic and meaningful way to learn more about Thailand. Highly recommend!
