Moment of emotion - One of the most moving moments of our lives, seeing whales in their natural element during pregnancy, we also had the chance to see a calf

Fun but challenging excursion - We had a wonderful trip. The staff made it very fun and enjoyable. The whale watching was great. We saw a momma and baby whale. Got lots of great videos and photos. A truly memorable time. The horseback riding was fun but scary. The paths are narrow and steep with rocks. Each horse has their own human guide that walks along the trail with you the entire time. Definitely not for anyone with balance issues or nervous of heights. Not a flat path at all and about 20-25 minutes each way. The waterfall was gorgeous and refreshing to swim in. However, if you go down it is a windy, steep and muddy climb back up. 259 steps. It is challenging. Don’t go down if that is an issue for you. Also, wear appropriate clothing especially shoes. No flip flops. Wear boots or Tennis shoes or something tie.

Whalwatching, Bacardi Island + Rio Cano Frio - We had booked whale watching with a visit to the Rio Cano Frio. We wanted to do this tour because the other tour, which included a visit to the Limon Waterfall, wasn't suitable for us with a baby and a toddler. Unfortunately, after whale watching and dinner on Bacardi Island, which was a complete overhaul, we were taken to the waterfall. This meant we could only do half of the tour. When we contacted the tour operator, we were simply turned away. It's all about making a lot of money in a short time.We recommend whale watching, the rest of the tour is a challenge even for adults without children
