This Hiking Trail and Kayaking Tour begins in Punta Cana, with hotel transfers included. Upon arrival at the park, participants will embark on a two-hour hike through the Humid Forest of Los Haitises National Park. During the hike, there will be opportunities to learn about the area’s medicinal plants and observe both primary and secondary broadleaf forests in the park’s mountains.
Following the hike, participants will be equipped with necessary safety gear, including lifejackets, and will set off in kayaks through the mangrove swamps. The tour offers views of bird-filled mangroves and rolling hills of lush vegetation. As the journey continues through the mangroves, participants will reach the open San Lorenzo Bay, an ideal spot for photographing the rugged forest landscape.
The tour concludes with a lunch with locals before returning to the hotel in Punta Cana.
