Bad transport, but look worth it! - Negatives: The transfer was pretty bad. Insufficient air conditioning, dirt. We stopped at a meeting point (it looks like a “vacationer pickup” to go into a store and shop) and we stayed there for a long time (I believe someone was late). We reached the point to pick up the ferry and found it extremely disorganized. On the turn, 3 people had stayed behind (the driver did not tell the people before we left and did not point the point backwards). Again we stopped at the same meeting point and asked to change transfer to facilitate the distribution of the people in the hotels. We waited a long time, really, but the transfer was much better!!! We noticed a difference between the first transfer (with Spanish Guide) and the second (English Guide). I don't know why, but the same company can offer different vans. Positive points: The island is beautiful!! The lunch there was delicious. We went from caramaran (which is not quite a caramaran) and we came back by boat. The crew on the boat was mto legal.

I recommend - Everything was good. The transport wasn’t too long, they call you in advance to let you know about any changes. The other guests are friendly, if you can’t speak Spanish they can assist you and they always take care of you. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that they will force you to give tips

Saona disappointment - Can be very challenging if you have any physical challenges, you have to go from one boat to another boat. We had to do this twice going and three times coming back plus the shuttle bus left five minutes before the scheduled time we had to get off of the bus because our husbands were not with us and take a taxi on top of that he was very rude very unorganized once we got to where we get on the boat to go overto the island our friends who were on the original transportation did not even get a chance to stop at the nature pool. We did get a chance to do that and it was very nice once we were at the island. It too was nice so it basically was the transportationComing back the boat we were on couldn’t make it all the way in so we had to transfer to another boat and again it was very physically challenging, especially if you are a senior.

Bad experience - Everything was fine until we arrived at the port to be picked up by the boat. They promise you a catamaran which is not true. You go on a small boat that is overcrowded and you can barely move. The leader of our team was a woman, who was extremely rude every time she was asked a question. I was embarrassed to take off my clothes to stay in my swimsuit, since the same employees who were inside the boat harassed you with their gaze and made unnecessary comments. In this application it assures you that food and drinks such as water, beers and rum are included. Not everything is included since the only alcohol they had was rum and they wanted to sell the beers to you. I asked the leader of our group about the beers since they were included in the package and she very rudely answered that she couldn't do anything for me. The food was terrible and in addition to that they gave us the food at 2pm after having started the tour at 8am. They didn't give us any snacks or anything.

Skip This One! - This excursion is listed as an 8 hour trip but in reality it lasted 13 hours! And only 2 of those hours was actually spent on the island. The rest of the time was spent traveling and switching modes of transportation...van to bus, boat to catamaran. And waiting in line to board transportation. The open bar was Pepsi, 7-Up and rum or water. The buffet lunch was sub-par. Most of the day was designed as photo ops so the photographers with the crew could take pictures which they then wanted to sell you. The island was beautiful, but for the price and the amount of time we actually got to relax on the beach it was not worth it.

Horrible; waste of money - The driver was late. We got stuck on the boat for most of the trip and were barely on the island due to no smaller boats being available to come get us. The boat drivers drank more alcohol than the passengers which is extremely unprofessional since there were children on the boat. The food on the island had bugs in it and their idea of “open bar” was a rum and coke without other options unless you paid for it. I would not recommend this trip to anyone.

Palmed off/poor sound/ waisted time - So what was supposed to be an 8 hour excursion turned into a 13 hour drag by the obvious stops at gift shops (tourist traps) and changing of transports. This is a budget experience with sub par transport, poor sound system and crew co mingling and partying with their friends. Cheap liquor and plastic cups… food was acceptable. Got the sense that we got palmed off onto this cruise as we probably the only ones that were booked for that specific cruise/boat.

Horrible - The view was definitely amazing but the experience with this company was horrible!! To start off we were supposed to get picked up at the hotel and then they were supposed to take us to a big bus to join another group. When we arrived to the gas station where we had to go on the other bus, the bus was not there. We got off the van and waiting like 3 minutes until the driver decided to call and then he was told to pick up another group at a different location. We got to the other group and picked up the people. Not a call was received to notify us the change. ended up leaving in a tiny bus with another group of 11 people. After driving for like 25 minutes I asked the driver where we were going and he said oh I’m taking you to catch the boat. When getting dropped off we were lost for like 45 minutes until someone finally said they were our tour guide. The communication was HORRIBLE! While being on the boat they asked to take a picture of us because our tour agency never communicated with the hotel. On our way to the island everything went well. We were supposed to have open bar and food. When getting to the food that opened at 1:00pm there was a huge line of over 50 people. We made it to get served by 1:35 and all the food was gone! A few groups stayed without food! The “open bar” was open but the boat attendants decided to bring the bottles down to the water and instead of serving everyone in cups they were serving it straight to the people’s mouths by a short distance. The crew was drinking themselves.They were drinking alcohol while driving a group of over 50 passengers.Everyone on the boat got soaked as if it was raining because the captain was driving horribly! Then to top it off the pictures taken on the boat were to be purchased. I gave the photographer the cash but since I didn’t have change and needed change i gave him 150 and he was supposed to give me 75 in change. He disappeared and my money was gone! This was an awful experience and don’t want anyone else going through what I went through.

Do not waste time or money - This was the worst most unorganized excursion I have ever been on. It was supposed to be an 8-9 hour total day. Ended up 13 1/2 and 3 1/2 of it was them moving bodies from van to van, we even stopped once we finally got on the road and they moved more people. They fed us one time in that period. Open bar was warm coke and rum or sprite only. They refused to let us get off the bus and Uber back. I e even charged by Uber for missi G them because they refused to let us off…. Boarder line kidnapping!! I’m not a review writer but they ruined our 1 of only 4 day vacation! Beware of this company!!! Terrible!!!
