Party Boat Saona - A incredible experience on the party boat! From the moment we boarded, the atmosphere was festive and full of energy. The bus arrived 10 minutes late to pick us up, but after that, everything was phenomenal. The Scape Caribe team was friendly and attentive. The views of the island are simply spectacular, with crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches. Without a doubt, a perfect day with friends, 100% recommended!

Family vacation - Finally I was able to see the famous Saona Island, very beautiful and the fabulous natural pool, the buffet was Dominican style, very good food.

Long day for beach trip.. - This trip is 12 hours and not the 8 hours stated. All trips to Soana Island go to the same departure point. Straight away, you are hassled by vendors as with the rest of the island. Our guide Francisco was good and able to speak 3 different languages. Impressed. Rum and music on the way to Island paradise awaits, clear water, sandy beach, buffet was good. Very picturesque. Things I didn't like. Being ambused for 20$ empty Mamjuana Bottle with our picture on it. Tips are not requested but more like demanded on the boats. On the transport front, we had to transfer coaches twice on both journeys. On the return journey we transferred to a smaller bus, great I thought we're only 10 minutes from our hotel. However, 45 minutes later, having travelled further in the opposite direction, we made it back around 7.30pm. Having started the day at 7.40am.

As advertised - This trip is exactly as advertised. The natural pool and the island are beautiful. The natural pool experience, though, (where they filmed the Blue Lagoon) is somewhat compromised by the fact there are literally dozens of boats anchored there. It’s basically a midwest US lake party cove. But it’s beautiful. The lunch on the island is good. The amount of time you have to travel, vs the enjoyable time you have in the water, is not. We left the resort at 0700h and returned at 1930h. Of that time, we had 3 1/2 - 4 hours in the beach/water. The rest was spent on busses and or a boat/catamaran. The open bar is disappointing. Beer is only served during lunch and the catamaran is so busy that it’s not that easy to get a drink, and when you do, it’s a 6 oz cup of cool soda with some rum. Was it beautiful? Yes. But so is my resort, and I would have preferred 12 1/2 hours of rest and relaxation at my beautiful resort as compared to 4 hours of relaxation and 8 1/2 hours of travel.

Not as expected - Lot of travelling to get to boat. No beer served on boat or beach had to pay. Beach not great & very stony. Beds poor state. Not as we expected from booking and pictures shown.

Don’t go - The catamaran and the staff were great. The boat was a little packed, but the ride itself was fine. The issue was the island itself, filled with jumbo rocks and what appear to be trash, charcoal and just playing garbage our day at the beach was not enjoyable. in fact, we only got in to board the vessel back to Punta Cana a complete disaster
