• Hutong Calligraphy Class - A welcoming Art Teacher will greet participants at the entrance of the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing Hotel Lobby. Attendees can select a Morning, Afternoon, or Evening Class to fit their schedule. This course not only teaches Chinese calligraphy but also imparts the wisdom of ancient Chinese Yin-yang theory to help find inner peace. The class consists of three steps. Step 1: Immersion Standing exercise is the foundational method to achieve inner peace and eliminate restlessness. Step 2: Correct posture for calligraphy practice. The Art Teacher will instruct on the use of the writing brush, the correct posture for calligraphy, and the basic strokes of calligraphy. Step 3: Practice. The Art Teacher will guide participants through Qin Dynasty Calligraphy, progressing from easy to difficult, and simple to complex, culminating in the creation of a personal calligraphy piece on elegant paper.
