• Temple of Confucius and Guozijian Museum - Established in the 14th century, the Confucius Temple and the Imperial Academy (Guozijian) were designed according to the ancient principle of “temple on the left, school on the right.” Together, they represented the pinnacle of the state’s educational system and were the venues for imperial ceremonies honoring Confucius.

The visit will begin at the Confucius Temple, where a comprehensive overview of Chinese temple culture and the life of Confucius will be provided. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the architectural design of the temple and its significance in sacrificial ceremonies.

• Temple of Confucius and Guozijian Museum - Following this, the tour will proceed to the Imperial Academy (Guozijian), located adjacent to the Confucius Temple. Here, an in-depth explanation of ancient Chinese educational traditions and the imperial examination system will be offered. The tour will also include an exploration of the various rooms within the Imperial Academy and an examination of the historical context of the era.
