Highly recommended - Highly recommended tour – informative and engaging!
Our visit to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City was absolutely worth it. Having a guide made all the difference, and our guide, Icy was fantastic — very knowledgeable, clear, and engaging throughout the tour. She gave us a lot of interesting details about Chinese history and culture that we would have easily missed on our own.
If you want to truly understand what you’re seeing, I definitely recommend booking this guided tour!

Excellent communication... - Excellent communication in advance and great tour with Vanessa. She was very informative, friendly and accommodating for everyone. Fantastic Tour with Icy – Forbidden City & Tian'anmen Square - I traveled solo and had the pleasure of exploring the Forbidden City and Tian’anmen Square with Icy as my guide. She made the entire experience feel personal, engaging, and incredibly informative. From the very beginning, I felt at ease — Icy was warm, professional, and clearly passionate about Chinese history.
Her storytelling brought the history of the emperors, dynasties, and architecture to life in a way that was easy to follow and deeply fascinating. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how attentive and thoughtful she was, making sure I got the most out of the experience without ever feeling rushed.
I left the tour with a much deeper appreciation for Beijing’s rich history, and I can confidently say this was one of the highlights of my trip. Highly recommend Icy if you're looking for an insightful, smooth, and enjoyable tour — solo or not!

An Exceptional Forbidden City Tour with Icy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Our tour of the Forbidden City was an unforgettable experience, made truly special by our guide, Icy. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous, and her passion for Chinese history really brought every story and structure to life.
What impressed us most was her attention to detail—Icy answered every question thoughtfully and made sure we understood the historical and cultural context behind what we were seeing. She even shared her personal collection of vintage photos and old maps of the Forbidden City, which gave us a rare glimpse into how it looked through the centuries.
It was clear that she genuinely cares about her guests and loves what she does. If you’re visiting Beijing, a tour with Icy is an absolute must!

Easy and informative tour with Linda - We had the forbidden city and the tiananmen square tour with Linda. Everything was well organized and run smoothly. Linda was a great tour guide, provided us with a lot of useful info. I also appreciated that they let us explore the forbidden city ourselves after the tour, also giving us some suggestions for next steps. Definitely would recommend.

Beijing’s must see - Vanessa is an amazing guide. She was very helpful and contributed lots of interesting information. We did not have to wait any minute at the security. The square and the forbidden city are quite overwhelming and 20.000 steps show the size.

Very professional guide with smile and kindness - We had a great tour with our lovely and always smiling guide Mary. She was knowledgeable, interesting and very helpful with answers to our questions. We did not noticed how time was passed. Reconmend this tour because these places are so huge that you cannot see them all or even highlights without professional guidance. Mary is the perefect guide for this kind of tour. Thank you Mary! Our family enjoyed tour very much.
