• Opium War Museum - At 8:30 am, guests will be picked up and driven approximately 80 km, taking about 1.5 hours, from Guangzhou to Humen in Dongguan.
  The museum comprises the Lin Zexu Memorial, Sea Battle Museum, Shajiao Fort, and Weiyuan Fort, spanning an area of 800,000 square meters.
  Established in 1957, the Opium War Museum showcases historical materials related to Lin Zexu’s opium destruction and the Opium War. It features two main exhibitions: Opium Destruction at Humen and the Opium Wars.
• Weiyuan Fort - Next, visitors will explore Weiyuan Fort. Known as The Great Wall on the waters, Weiyuan Fort served as a coastal defense system against invaders. The cannons along the coast remain well-preserved, illustrating history from around 200 years ago.
• Humen Bridge - Following this, guests will stroll along the sea coast to admire the impressive Humen Bridge.
  Later, they will be transported back to Guangzhou, where the day tour concludes.

The Opium War Museum is situated in Humen Town, Dongguan City, China, which collects and displays the research, relics, and history about the Opium War (1840-1842AD). This private day tour will let you take a private vehicle in the morning from Guangzhou to Humen Town and explore the historical attractions. You will visit the museum with your local guide to know the famous Lin Zexu General, and learn the modern history that happened in Humen nearly 200 years ago. Then you will head to Weiyuan Fort where you will view the ancient cannons by the sea. Moreover, you will walk along the sea coast to look at the ocean and the impressive Humen Bridge.
