The BEST tour ever! - If there’s a perfect way to discover San Sebastián, it’s with Eskerne. She’s not just an exceptional guide but also a true enthusiast of history and gastronomy, making every moment an authentic and unforgettable experience.
From the very first minute, her knowledge and charisma turned our tour into something far beyond a simple visit. We immersed ourselves in the rich history of the city, walking through streets filled with anecdotes and traditions that only someone with her expertise can share.
And when it came to the gastronomic part… absolutely spectacular! We tasted the best pintxos, each with its own story and perfect pairing. Eskerne took us to authentic spots.
Without a doubt, this was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. If you visit San Sebastián, taking a tour with Eskerne is an absolute must. We’d do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Culture and gastronomy hand in hand. - The experience of touring the city of San Sebastian is more charming and tasty with a professional. Each Pintxo was also tasty and memorable for the stories and anecdotes shared.

Go book her! - We are a group of chefs, sommeliers and foodies. Visited San Sebastian early June 2024. Booked Eskerne from Discover San Sebastian for a two hour walk from our hotel. She picked us up in the reception. What a lady! She was polite, funny, energetic and she knows what she is doing. When she got to know us (after a few minutes) she changed the tour after what we wanted. We will recommend Eskerne to everybody. We are only sorry we had not booked her for the whole day.

Pintoxs Tour - The tour was simply amazing. The local tour guide Eskerne made the tour, friendly and knowledgeable. The 5 bars our small group visited were the bars locals go to and all all offered something different.
I can not recommend this tour highly enough!

This food tour is a must do!! - We loved the food & history tour with Chus. She is an amazing tour guide who manages to combine a fun night out while being informative at the same time. We actually did this tour on our second night in San Sebastián and it made us appreciate it more as we struggled finding our way around the pintxo bars the first night. We combined the history and food walking tour. Both were excellent!
We met some lovely people in our group and we enjoyed each other’s company so much we stayed on for a drink after the tour. I truly could not recommend this tour more highly. We learnt so much about the customs of the Basque region and enjoyed all the delicious pintxos. My 17 year old son and 24 year old daughter still list the food tour with Chus as a highlight of our three week holiday in Spain. Six months on we still reminisce about the beautiful food, drinks and company of that night in San Sebastián. A definite must do!

Touring San Sebastián with a twist - What a fantastic way of getting to know the city of San Sebastián this turned out to be! Me and my wife went around town with our guide Chus, tasting food and drinks as we went along. The mood never felt awkward, but more like hanging out with an old (or new) friend.
Highly recommended, if you want to take a tiny step out of your vacation comfort zone!

The absolute best! - We are traveling through Spain for three weeks. We are on day 19 and this was the absolute best, most fun night we've had here! Not only was our guide wonderful, enthusiastic, funny and full of heart, but the other people on the tour were so fun and will surely be lifelong friends! The Pintxos were delicious and she taught us how to do a tapas crawl on our own. Now we feel ready to hit the tapas bars with confidence! It was just brilliant and worth every penny and then some. Fabulous!

Fun, but tiring - We enjoyed Eskerne's tour, however it should be labeled Pintxos Walking Tour - not "Dinner". Also, for the price, we should have been able to sit down at all 5 bars - not just two. Four and half hours of walking with only 2 places to sit is too long.
