Outstanding private tour. - Our guide, Jose Manuel, was very knowledgeable about the history of, people and politics of the Basque region. He encouraged questions and customized our experience.

Sunshine in Basque Country - Fabulous walking tour with Jose yesterday on a glorious day in San Sebastián! He picked us up at our hotel and we walked through the city together to Old Town. His enthusiasm for Basque Country and its people and history is contagious. We had insider views, in depth background and insight to the struggles and successes of the Basque people. He loves it here and now so do we! Jose is incredibly knowledgeable, charming and intelligent. Highly recommend!

A True Gem! - Jone, out tour guide, was exceptional. We made a last minute decision due to a change of plans and it was absolutely serendipitous. Jone made our second day in San Sebastián so memorable. It was wonderful being able to spend time with her given the fact she was born and raised in San Sebastián. Her insights and knowledge of her country’s history was very special. She was able to provide a feel and flavor for this magnificent city that we may not have experienced had it not been for her And to top it off she recommended two Pintxos stops and the a restaurant recommendation for cheesecake that was exceptional. It was ra pleasure to spend time with Jone. A real gem!

Communication both prior to and on the day of the tour was excellent, making everything smooth and stress-free. He is knowledgeable and shared insights that truly enhanced our experience. On top of that, he was friendly and easy to get along with, which made the tour even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Our guide Mikel was... - Our guide Mikel was fantastic it was a rainy day in San Sebastian and despite that he taught us even more than we expected. The rain calmed down after an hour and we were able to hike to Mount Urdull which we really wanted to do. We knew a lot about the history of San Sebastian. We had a great day. And at the end of the tour he gave us tips to continue our visit and places to eat.

Excellent walking tour in San Sebastian - We had an excellent tour of San Sebastian with Mikel as our guide. Though we requested the tour in Spanish, I know he can also provide tours in English. As a result, I will submit this review in both languages. From the start, Mikel takes his role as a guide very seriously, connecting several weeks before the tour by WhatsApp and reviewing our preferences for the walking tour, including the subjects that interested us the most. He also prepared us well for the kinds of weather we might encounter, as well as providing tips on places of interest and restaurants in the day leading up to the tour. The tour itself was excellent. Mikel is punctual, and offers a detailed view of San Sebastian, covering decades of history which is connected to his own family history of the city. He also makes a good sense of humor and knowledgeable about even the tiniest details of the city. Overall, we highly recommend Mikel. You will learn a lot and enjoy your time with him. Great guide but I am disappointed with Viator. - I loved our guide! But I made a minor error in booking this reservation for the wrong date. When I went into the app 5 MINUTES LATER to change the date , they charged me and REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND. I was charged twice for human error and I am very disappointed in Viator.
