An outstanding evening for three generations! - Iri was a first rate guide for 3-generation group! She is warm, knowledgeable and charming, constantly checking in with each person to ensure they are good. The food was too-notch, and diverse. My 81 year old mom commented that she learned more about San Sebastián on this tour than from the travel books she’d reviewed. It was a wonderful evening!

Our foodie tour with Iri... - Our foodie tour with Iri was amazing!!! Not only did she share amazing foods, wines and cocktails with us, she was so knowledgeable about San Sebastián (where she grew up) the Basque culture and general information about Spain. A delightful young lady who you immediately felt was a good friend. Each restaurant we visited was terrific, nice sized portions and plenty to drink. I’d highly recommend this tour and our guide Iri.

Fantastic! - Our food tour in San Sebastián was a fantastic, thanks to our amazing guide, Iri. From the very beginning, Iri brought incredible energy, warmth and knowledge to the experience. It felt less like a tour and more like exploring the city with a passionate local friend who truly loves sharing their culture. Iri introduced us to fantastic pintxos bars we never would have found on our own and explained the stories behind the dishes, the traditions and the local ingredients. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen. We learned so much about Basque food culture while enjoying some of the most delicious bites of our trip. Iri also shared great recommendations for the rest of our stay in San Sebastián. It was one of the highlights of our time in the city—fun, delicious and incredibly memorable. Highly recommended!

Unmissable Pintxos and drinks tour in San Seb - We had the best tour with Iri. She was super friendly, super knowledgeable, given she was brought up in San Sebastian. We had been in San Sebastian for a couple of days, but Iri took us to places, we wouldn't even have noticed, or seen. They ranged from Michelin stars, to award winning pintxos bars and we ate the most delicious food! She was able to adapt quickly given, we'd already been to one place on her list, to another fantastic local spot, and knew enough about the places to know there would be options for the pickier eater (me). It wasn't just about the pintxos, though. Each stop we had a traditional basque drink and even got to pour our own sidre which was just brilliant. Can't recommend this personally designed tour enough. Would happily do it all over again

Best food tour - 5/5 Alaia was an amazing guide, we visited fantastic local places and learned so much about Donostia and basque cuisine and culture in the three hours!you could tell so much thought was put into each of the stops on the tour and they gave a great flavour of all the pinxtos on offer with great drink pairings trying all the local specialties. We got fantastic recommendations for after the tour too. Absolutely loved the wine and beer shop stop. Could not recommend this tour enough to anyone visiting Donostia San Sebastián

Did not meet expectations. 30% good. - E-postEmneWe met exactly at 5:00 PM. We were looking for a guide with a purple bag… we didn’t see anyone, only a woman sitting on the steps. We walked around a bit, wondering if this was the right place and were about to call—only then did she stand up and say she was the guide. She should have been standing there, clearly visible with the bag. There was a pleasant round of introductions before we started. The first stop was good – Casa Senra. The next stop was at her husband’s wine shop. There we were served their own vermouth and a small cracker with a bit of cheese, as well as an olive stick. We did not expect this to count as one of our six stops. It was nice to hear about her family and their wine production, but it has nothing to do with a pintxo bar.Meson Marin – good.Casa Senra – good.Beharri Cider – a sad basement venue where we were instructed to pour a little cider at the bottom of the glass from the tap. This turned out to be the drink meant to accompany the meat, which tasted good. However, everyone had empty glasses and there was no offer of refills. Red wine should have been served with such good meat. A depressing venue. What was supposed to be the final dessert stop turned out to be a piece of cake that the guide picked up from a bakery and served to us on the street! It was raining, so we found shelter under a sidewalk awning. A very poor ending to a tour we had been looking forward to.If this is the usual quality of your tours, we will avoid your company in the future. Sorry.
