Ascend to the highest point of the Cliffs of Moher, towering 214 meters (702 feet) above sea level. On a clear day, enjoy stunning views of the Dingle Peninsula and Loop Head to the south, the Aran Islands to the west, and the Twelve Pins and Connemara mountains to the north. From O’Brien’s Tower, marvel at the spectacular vistas of verdant grass, rugged cliffs, and the ever-changing hues of sea and sky, while listening to the powerful Atlantic Ocean waves crashing below.
This 3.5-hour walk follows a gravel path and concludes at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre, with a taxi ride back to Doolin village included. The trail is an easy walk, requiring a basic level of fitness and a good head for heights, stretching 8km in length.
