A wonderful experience - I was impressed with the service provided at all levels. The lady selling the tickets in the kiosk was friendly and informative. The crew were welcoming and ensured that those with mobility issues were helped aboard. The cruise itself was a lovely experience. The captain kept us entertained with his commentary. I sat on the top deck in the open and even though it was a windy day I enjoyed myself. There was ample seating inside for those who wanted to be out of the wind The views were spectacular. I would recommend this tour to all ages. Once again though the dolphins which are sometimes seen on this trip eleded me. Better luck next time.

Brilliant cruise! - The cruise was fantastic- we would very much recommend it! We boarded at Poole and there was plenty of room to sit. Lots of choice-inside and outside seats. At Swanage, some lovely Durlston Rangers boarded and gave us lots of commentary and useful information about what birds to look for and where. We saw quite an assortment of birds, including puffins. The staff were friendly, the cruise was lovely and relaxed, there was an onboard bar for drinks and a board toilet. Beautiful views-especially on the way back as the sun was going down. Thank you!

Thank you Coastal Cruises! - This is a great cruise to do if you have a couple of hours or even 5/6 hours to spare. The Jurassic Circular is takes around 2 hours and takes you past the Poole harbour islands (Brownsea) and past all the lovely sailing boats, Sandbanks and Harry's Rocks all the way to Swanage and back. We had originally booked the circular but from reading more about Swanage at the Blue Kiosk (Meeting Point and no, you can't miss it, as it has Coastal Cruises advertised all over it) we decided to ask if it was possible to stop off at Swanage to explore the place, the lovely man at the kiosk made a call and then agreed. This is not something we would normally do or recommend as sometimes there is a slight queue and some folks are trying to buy tickets for cruises that are about to leave, nevertheless we were grateful. Glad we did,as Swanage is pretty quaint place to roam around with great lunch options and makes for a great excursion for any age. All you need to do is: - Get to the meeting point 15/30 mins early and sit by the harbour side and enjoy the views). - Keep an eye for your cruise boat (it's labelled with the name of the cruise). - Line up to embark 15 mins before departure. - Keep your digital or paper tickets ready. - Board and find a lovely spot to sit or stand (inside or out). - Listen to the lovely commentary and safety measures. - Lastly, do all the above and you'll have a great time! We really enjoyed the Jurassic Cruise. Thank you Coastal Cruises! The commentary is fun and factful
