Punta Tombo is globally recognized as one of the premier locations to observe Magellan penguins and is among the largest penguin nesting sites in continental South America. This expansive rookery and breeding ground is home to around 2 million Magellan penguins that come to ensure the continuation of their species. Visitors have the opportunity to stroll among the thousands of nests and admire this natural marvel and these remarkable birds.
