Must do experience in Costa Rica for nature lovers - This is really an amazing location to visit while in Costa Rica. Although the drive up to it is a little rough, the payoff is worth it. You'll be immersed in a fully self-sustained part of the rainforest near the Rincon de la Vieja volcano. Take your time as you take in the natural beauty, flora, and fauna. The hike culminated in a lovely thermal spring which was a great way to relax at the end of the hike. Our guide Daniel was fully invested in his job, and his passion showed. He customized the tour to our needs and patiently explained all the ins and outs of the area. The site is well designed, with changing facilities and showers for after the hike and swim, and a nice lunch awaits you. Getting into nature is a key experience in Costa Rica, and this will not disappoint.

Most magical experience. - One of the most memorable experiences I've ever had and my friends agree. We were a group of 5 women and we booked the private jagual pool experience with transport. The ride from Tamarindo was ~3.5 hours but it was comfortable and they stop by a market that you can buy souvenirs and sample or buy coffee. Our driver Pablo was very kind and went above and beyond explaining different landmarks and towns that we would pass through. He even stopped a few times for us to take pictures on the way and pointed out wildlife and natural occurrences to us. We saw toucans on our way in and out! When we got to Sensoria we were greeted by fresh blackberry juices and we got changed and went on our hike. You get to choose whether you want a more hiking focused tour or if you want to spend more time in the pools. The facilities were very clean and you're provided with lockers, towels, and robes at the end. The guide was very knowledgeable but clear that there is no guarantee that we would see wildlife. It was still very educational and we saw some birds, lizards, snake, etc. The 3 pools that we toured were pristine. Water was crystal clear and we really enjoyed it. I am a weak swimmer but was able to stay on some of the shallow parts of the pools. They provided fresh fruits, cheese platter and champagne at the last pool and we got to spend a good amount of time at each. Lunch was served at the main house. We all opted for the traditional costa rican lunch and enjoyed the tender chicken and rice and beans. The place was really quiet. We were the only ones there that day. It was definitely not your typical overcrowded touristy excursion. We had an amazing time! The property is simply gorgeous and the service was phenomenal.

Like NOTHING you’ve ever experienced - This is extremely unique and nothing like anything else you can book. I highly recommend the private and luxury add ons - it is WELL worth it! Daniel was our guide and he was 10000% perfect. His passion for the rainforest touched our souls and we fell more in love with this beautiful country. The food was delicious and the view from the treehouse actually brought me to tears. This is an amazing experience.

Excellent true rainforest experience!! - Our guide for our private tour was Wakeen, he was very knowledgeable on everything that goes on in a rain forest and we enjoyed his company. Went to the volcanic pools, waterfalls, hiked and a very good lunch. The Sensoria experience was well worth the money and long drive was made very enjoyable by our driver Pablo. We highly recommend!!!

Place full of nature - The tour we bought was a hike along the trails with spa and lunch, the place is spectacular, for nature lovers will enjoy it lots, the guide super attentive and enjoyable, the hikes are with a guide just for you, so it gives the feeling of exclusive. Good lunch, and good massage also in a private place Super privileged. Things to take into account the street to get there is PRETTY bad, that is not the place but if they can get there by better transport.
