Thomas is a must - If you want to do such a tour, you should definitely do it with THOMAS. Thomas is the bus driver and at the same time the guide, who leaves no eye dry with his cool and funny sayings. Thumbs up for you, Thomas!

A great overview Dresden - A city tour that shows in 90 minutes much of Dresden with interesting stops and exit options for further excursions.Safe,good and friendly drivers,also with Live Guide.All well signposted.and every 30 minutes from 10 am to 4 pm also for 2 or 3 days with possibility of night tour .Really class

Dresden is always worth a visit. - The bus driver from the Hop on Hop of was just great. We have been picked up in front of the door (Schaffer motorhomes) and brought back again. It is recommended to use that 2 day ticket. I think in two days it is very close to see everything.

Need to speak German for max impact of tour - I completely understand we are in Germany. But this was the first HO/HO bus we're ever done where the native language was played over the loudspeaker. Which would be fine but it was VERY loud, making it tough to hear the other languages through the headphones unless that volume was CRANKED. Also, be aware the extra tours offered are also only in German. Which was disappointing since we could find those activities listed elsewhere in other languages. It was worth it, and we are glad we did it, but wanted to provide that feedback for others looking into this activity.

Average - After multiple reviews pointed out incorrect address for ticket retrieval since June 2025...the address has not been corrected so we wound up wandering around. Maybe thinking they would update it was too much to expect. Tour was fine...my headphone jack was inoperable but the others in my party were ok aside from the static. We had Viator credits so for around 43 for all 3 of us it was fine.

Bus tour alone yes, rest no - When the bus tour in itself was definitely good. We had the best seats, front and top. The route announcement came through the loudspeakers - here it is a must that the sexist comments are changed. The price of the bus tour includes four guided tours and one entry to an attraction. The three guided tours are virtually a large tour, which takes place only once a day at 1 pm. This is not shown anywhere when booking a ticket - you will find out on the spot... Since we only started our tour at 12:30 p.m., we could not participate in it anymore. We then decided on the fourth tour (the Nightwatchman Tour). This starts at 8 pm (also at 6 pm but this was not suggested to us). The tour was an absolute mess. About 70 people, a night watchman whose voice reaches to the front row and doesn't respond to requests to speak louder. The bus ride would therefore be recommended if the price is reduced and only the bus ride is offered. Unfortunately, the other attractions can only be used to a limited extent.

Terrible trip - Worst hop on hop off tour we have taken. Half the translators on the bus did not work and noticed other people upset. There were no maps in English only German so we went the whole trip around just looking at buildings and not knowing anything about them or what stop we were at. The driver was very smooth with his driving and the route was very nice to look at but not to know nothing about what we were seeing was very disappointing

Terrible- limited English! - This trip advertises English - not true!!! Guide spoke constantly in German ( entire tour)! Occasionally we would get a few sentences in English, but they did not match our location! A total waste of money!
