Start your journey with the Outlander Tour as it kicks off at 8:00 AM. This tour is a time-traveling adventure through the Highlands, where you’ll visit the Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, and the iconic Urquhart Castle. The tour is a must for fans of the Outlander series and history buffs alike. As you wander through the ancient burial chambers and standing stones, you’ll feel the weight of history and the whispers of the past.
“This Outlander Tour Rocks - We took this tour with kilted Scot, George Richie, and were completely happy with everything. He took us to all the Outlander locations including sneaking through the bushes of a graveyard and unlocking the Frazer church where we were able to go down into the crypt!! What fun! Clava Cairns was magical, Culloden and the stories of what happened there was dramatic and sad, while Loch Ness tickled a bit of mystery. George was fun and informative, and we would definitely recommend this tour.” - Reviewed on 2024-07-27
A Day of Castles and Legends
As the day progresses, the clouds may part slightly, offering glimpses of the sun and casting dramatic shadows over the landscape. This is the perfect time to embark on the Castle and Loch Adventure, starting at 9:30 AM. This private full-day tour takes you on a journey through time, exploring the ruins of Urquhart Castle, perched majestically on the shores of Loch Ness.
The tour also includes a visit to the Clava Cairns and the hauntingly beautiful Culloden Battlefield, where you can almost hear the echoes of the past. As you stand on the battlefield, the stories of the Jacobite Risings come to life, painting a vivid picture of the struggles and triumphs of those who fought here.
“Wonderful Day Tour - Having a guide who is a local of the Highlands is key! Billy was a great guide and was very accommodating for our day. We started our day with a tour of Inverness then onto Loch Ness. We stopped at the ruins of Urquhart Castle, then went to Beauly and were introduced to a dream ring and coffee before going to Robertson’s Farm to meet Jamie McKenzie Fraser and Katie Moran, the highland cows (they were the highlight of the tour, according to my wife). Billy adjusted the tour throughout the day to incorporate things he thought we’d find interesting based on our conversations with him, and this stop to see the highland cows was one of the several examples of how he added little boots of magic to our adventure.” - Reviewed on 2024-12-06

The cool, crisp air and the gentle breeze create a perfect atmosphere for a leisurely stroll along the shores of Loch Ness, where the legend of Nessie adds a touch of mystery to the evening.
The Great Glen Distillery, founded during the first lockdown of 2020, offers a delightful end to your day. Here, you can sample their award-winning gin, crafted with water from Loch Ness itself. The distillery is a testament to the resilience and creativity of the Highland spirit, and a perfect way to toast to a day well spent.
