Super fun day in the Highlands - Really enjoyed our day with Karen and Tabby. Very informative guides and fun experiences. Loved the scotch whisky tasting and Culloden interpretive centre and battlefield. Urquhart castle ruins were really cool too. Little bit of everything in this tour. Highly recommended!

Great Experience - Very informative and beautiful views. Karen and her assistant made it memorable. Windy and cold. But the sun came out many times.

Wonderful views with wonderful guides - Had a wonderful with our great guides, Emily and her trainee Tabby. They were very entertaining throughout the day. The places we stopped at along the way were beautiful, and we loved the 30 mins on the boat on Loch Ness. The bylus was comfortable and we had plenty of time at each stop to see everything. Would thoroughly recommend this tour

Untrained Guide, No Value – Painful and Pointless Tour Experience - We booked the Loch Ness Cruise, Outlander & Urquhart Castle Tour from Inverness (June 20, 2025 – Booking Ref: 1265665545) and deeply regret it. Initially, the tour was physically distressing — the guide spoke plosively into the microphone, causing sharp pain in my left ear. As a war veteran with heightened sensory sensitivity, this triggered a fight-or-flight response that left me feeling trapped. To her credit, she eventually adjusted her tone after we raised concerns. However, the core problem persisted: this was not a guided tour. The guide openly admitted she knew nothing about the area and repeatedly told us to buy museum tickets if we wanted to learn anything. She added little to no value to the journey, provided no meaningful historical or cultural context, and treated the role as a joke. We paid over $275 for a bus ride and a self-guided experience — something that could’ve cost far less and delivered far more on our own. We contacted the company directly and were told no refund would be provided, despite the lack of service and our valid concerns. For comparison, a tour we took the day prior with another provider was longer, better guided, and far more informative — at a lower cost. This experience felt like a bait-and-switch. You expect a professional guide, informative commentary, and quality service — not a dismissive, underprepared trainee who abdicates the core function of the job. Do not recommend.
