Very interesting and historical place. - This place is amazing and in such a beautiful area. We did the tour of the distillery and I would highly recommend. The guide Shane was so knowledgeable and engaging, he did a fantastic job. The place is so well laid out and decorated we loved everything about it from the video to the whiskey tasting. An added bonus is you get a free drink at the end in the bar with a chance to relax and take in the surroundings and we also enjoyed a lovely lunch from the Jackalope Cafe. A wonderful day out.

A must visit! - Myself and my friends went to The Shed for the guided tour of the distillery. Our tour guide Saoirse was fantastic! She was so knowledgeable and able to answer all the questions thrown at her. The tour itself and the layout of the distillery was so immersive and well thought out in every aspect. After the tour, there is one drink included at the bar which is a lovely touch. We ate at the restaurant too and the selection of food was broad and the food itself was delicious! There was a great selection of well presented cocktails also available and our waitress Grace was well able to advise us on what to pick based on our personal tastes. I would definitely recommend The Shed for a great day out and good value.

Great day trip - Me and my friends had a lovely day out at the shed. The tour was great and our tour guide Saoirse was knowledgable and was able to answer any questions we had. Grace looked after our table after our tour and recommended us cocktails based on what we like. All the staff in the shop and bar were also really friendly and helpful. Well worth the money and would recommend it to anyone. We all had a ball thank you!

Highly recommended a visit to this gem in the heart of rural Ireland. - Would highly recommend visiting for a tour or even for the cafe.
From the moment we arrived we were so impressed on the whole experience and exceeded our expectations.
The grounds are immaculate , the tour is very informative and interesting . A lot of thought has gone into making this place an interesting and special place to visit. And you can see a lot of love and money has gone into this whole experience. Very quirky in every corner of the place.
The cafe has excellent choices of food and drinks and was nice and busy.
The shop was well stocked with lots of quirky items along with the gins, vodka and whiskey. And plenty of choices for gifts at various price points.
On the whole I will be recommending this tour to other people, it’s a gem in the heart of rural Ireland and a great story behind it.
And great to hear it has provided vast employment to the area.
I will definitely return to the cafe and gift shop and recommend any visitors that come to stay a with us take the tour.

Gin fan - I'm a big fan of Drumshambo gin and stopped off on a visit to the the West, interesting tour with a very knowledgeable guide sorry don't remember his name, the layout is good but really disappointed couldn't take photos ! Been to other whiskey gin and beer distillery/brewery and you can take pics ! Took a few outside. We had a whiskey tasting and a gin cocktail and non alcohol for the driver ! Really enjoyed these, nice giftshop and cafe too. Our tour looked fully booked so would advise to rebook if a group going.

Don’t bother-horrible experience - Drove quite a distance. Once there, you enter through the shop. Bought a hamper containing gin, glasses and entrance to the tour. We were then told that, despite being told we could go on a tour, we now could not. We advised that we could not come back, the answer was still no. When we pointed out that the hamper was, therefore, no good to us, the took €20 off the price. Tour was €19 each so the €20 deduction was queried. Told that the price in the hamper was €10 each. Have to admit I got a bit flustered as I was now thinking there was no point in buying the hamper but my husband had paid! Then tried to get some lunch in the on site restaurant-complete chaos in there. Long delays for food - the just could not cope with the orders despite it not being full. Feel like it was a waste of our day and expensive. Also lots of very young children there which I wondered about. Nothing for children to do and it’s a distillery!
