Please visit this beautiful place - You can see from the cover photo that this place is beautiful. They even have a restaurant and bar. The staff went above and beyond to be sure everyone had a great experience. Most importantly, they have a wonderful product and a rich history.

Very Worthwhile - This tour has no screens & no AI. You actually meet a human who takes you through the distillery & talks you gently through how whiskey & gin are made locally. You get to sample the whiskey and enjoy a very generous gin cocktail at the end. It's fun! It lasts about an hour. Book in advance as it's a popular destination. Cafe on site serves really nice fresh food. You can't reserve cafe fyi.

This will light your fire ! - Excellent Distillery Tour, entertaining, engaging & quite different to other distillery tours in Ireland (& Scotland) that are all very similar in design & presentation. The curious journey was very original & a feast for the eyes & the senses. It’s great value too as the admission price of €19 per adult & €17 concession/student includes a whiskey tasting & a Gun Powder Gin Cocktail of your choice in the bar afterwards. The Shed also has a lovely shop with lots of original merchandise & nicely packaged gift ideas. 10/10 and a great addition, attraction wise to the North West of Ireland

Good points outweigh the bad... - First, the negatives: Too many on the group to feel it not being up close and personal. Our group included some sort of mother and toddler group. Who brings screaming and crying toddlers (and new borns) to a distillery tour, and more importantly, who let's them in? Most distilleries have an age restriction. Spoilt the tour for us. Also, there are no photos allowed? Why not? There was some amazing curios in here, and it's not as if we found out any industrial secrets. Positives: Grace was a really enthusiastic informative guide who handled the toddlers extremely well and tactfully. Layout and tour first class. The tastings and the drink in the bar at the end were very enjoyable. Cafe and gift shop up with the best of them. Would I come again? Yes, but in a smaller group with no minors involved.

Awful bar staff on 26/04/25 @ 17:00 - Went here for a bit of grub and a drink after. Food was tasty. Bar staff left a lot to be desired however. Granted they were dealing with a hen party. Bar staff quite coldly ignored myself and 2 friends, purposely avoiding eye contact. The sort of behaviour you'd get in a pub in a Temple bar, but it wasn't even busy, just 20 minutes wasted and overall quite unpleasant. Basic customer service, simple acknowledgements, I worked in a busy bar myself. Shout out in particular to the tall lad in denims and 3 raven haired ladies. I weep for the future!!
