Tour of local Altbiers and Dusseldorf Old town - This is a tour of the four Altbier brewery's within Dusseldorf where we got to try 5 Altbiers together. The tour guide was nice and welcoming. He showed us the brewing process of the local Altbiers and the ingredients that go into them. The guide was happy to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend this tour to anybody visiting Dusseldorf who wants to learn more about the area and their culture.

Delicious old with great guidance - Super guide to the pubs that have their own brewery and still brew in the city itself. The tour guide was great and also had a lot of background knowledge and an answer to every question. There was also some historical background to Düsseldorf and of course to the beer and brewing culture in the city. Highly recommended and would do it again.

Interesting experience – but with reductions in depth - The beer safari was a nice experience overall and gave us an entertaining evening as a group of 19. The tour was well organized, and the atmosphere in the group was relaxed and pleasant. However, the content did not quite meet our expectations. We were hoping to learn a little more about the breweries themselves, the beer production and the stories behind the respective beers. Instead, the focus was more on social gatherings and tasting beer, which of course also has its appeal – especially for larger groups. For those who are simply looking for an entertaining evening with beer and good mood, the tour is certainly recommended. However, if you expect deeper insights into the art of brewing or local breweries, you might want to check out alternatives beforehand. Overall, a solid excursion with potential – maybe the tour can be adapted a bit depending on the group composition.

Was a bit disappointing. - The organization was not very professional, we were not on the list to go along when we had booked long in advance. After 5x showing the booking and some shuffling we were still able to join. We haven't seen the real brewing process. At 4/5 breweries we stood on the terrace where everyone was talking loudly, making the story difficult to understand. The guide was very enthusiastic, but the size of the group and the locations of the story made it quite difficult to follow everything.

The tour started too late, way too big a group. There was a guide sick and 1 guide did not do the tour on her own I thought - Far too large group, disorganized, started too late because 1 guide was sick. So very messy at first! And we had chosen a German explanation and everything was also told in English because several groups were merged

Without brewery tour, pure drinking tour - The tour was a gift and we were really looking forward to it. The tour guide was very nice, but had no chance against the unpleasant volume of the group (34 people incl. bachelor party). We barely got what was told. Also the announced (and with paid) brewery tour much out. At the first stop we were sent on as there was no room for the group... Two stars in the review, just because of the competent guide. Conclusion: go to the locations yourself, in a crowded group such a tour is absolutely pointless.

The guide was uninterested and his shared knowledge poor. - The tour was very disappointing. The guide did not seem engaged at all, the information or facts being shared were confusing and very hard to follow. The tour itself was a tad dull and the beer was also only OK. For the price we paid we did not get value for money that we expected. I have been on these tours before and have normally been impressed but sadly not on this occasion. I would not recommended it to anyone !
