I didn't expect much! - Dusseldorf is not a very famous city, so I didn't expect much from this visit, however, this city surprised me as it has everything. Our guide Ricky showed us the old town while telling us about its history. What caught my attention the most was the Dusseldorf Carnival, a very big celebration that starts in November and ends in March. Ricky took the time to explain everything about this great celebration, It was definitely entertained!

Exploring Dusseldorf! - Exploring Dusseldorf on foot was the perfect way to get to know this lively city! Our guide took us through the Altstadt, where we learned about the city's fascinating history and its reputation as the "longest bar in the world" thanks to its beer culture. The beautiful architecture, from modern buildings along the river to the historic sites tucked in narrow streets, kept us intrigued. A highlight was walking along the Rhine promenade, where the views were stunning and the vibe was vibrant.

Great start to a Dusseldorf visit - My wife and I wanted an overview of Dusseldorf to get us started on a five day visit and this was perfect for us. Our tour guide (Ricky) was personable and knowledgeable. Our group was 6-8 people across a broad age group and he kept everyone engaged. We referred back to our tour many times over the next few days as we explored the city in more depth, following up several times on suggestions and recommendations from our tour guide. Definitely worth the time and money!

Fun and informative - I knew almost nothing about Dusseldorf before this walking tour, and Ronny did a great job of providing information on places to visit and places to get various types of food. He did an excellent job of mixing history with current city life. He was entertaining and informative. You couldn't ask for a better guide.

Interesting industrial and cultural city - On our tour of the center and surrounding area, we could observe in the old port of the city the Measure Hafen with its famous Frank O Dancing Houses. Gehry, emblem of the city's architecture. We also walk along the French-inspired Konigsalle Avenue where the first international fashion show is born

Not the most interesting city - Dusseldorf has not much to offer on an outdoor hike. Historic buildings were bombed during WW2, and this is the architecture very characterized by. The guide was kind and did his best to make the trip entertaining, but I would have skipped the trip if I knew what it meant. No criticism of the guide.

GUIDE WAS A NO-SHOW - no communication from the company - We arranged our schedules around this tour and no guide came. A visit to the tourism office revealed that this is apparently a common occurrence. Viator refunded our fees, but we would much rather have had the tour or been given notice in time to look for an alternative. Our reservations should never have been accepted.

Horrible communication! - The operator would not return our messages. We were literally 7 minutes late. (Germann trains) We called the tour operator with no answer. We messaged the operator through the Viatour app of the tour asking to tell up where the group was so we can meet them. No return message. Worst customer service ever! We even contacted Viatour and they were not able to get ahold of the operator! Very Bad tour operator communication channel. We felt completely ignored and were not able to attend tour. Bad day in brugge.....do not recommend. No way to contact the tour operator, even in an emergency!
