Modified Abu Dhabi City Tour - I arranged this spontaneous modified Abu Dhabi city trip for my family as we had transit around 16H in Abu Dhabi for flight from Islamabad to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival in the morning we went for Desert Safari tour in the morning for about 4-5 hours. After came back from the trip we still have time to kill before our next flight to Kuala Lumpur. In my mind i always want to see Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. After came back to the hotel from the Thrill Exciting Safari Desert tour, i mean after showered, changed, rest a bit and i went down to the lobby to see whether there is shuttle from the Premier Inn Abu Dhabi International Airport Hotel to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque . There is shuttle service to go there, unfortunately the time had passed and the next shuttle service wont be convenient to catch next flight. Another option is via the airport shuttle maybe?, however it must be tiring for my parent to walk here and there, plus my mother suffered from bilateral knee osteoarhtritis. Bare in mind, we consist of family of 7 including 5 adult (siblings age from 37-17 years old)) and 2 elderly age 59 years old(mother) and 67 years old (father). After bought take away lunch for my family from Hatam restaurant in Terminal 3 in Abu Dhabi Airport, i went back to the room and had lunch with them. Not giving up, i downloaded Uber and saw the price for Uber ride to go to the Mosque, Damn its expensive! We are in Abu Dhabi baby :))) and we might need 2 taxis. Thus, i called Khat Tour and discuss for Abu Dhabi City tour option for at least 3-4 hours. After a brief discussion i booked a tour for 7 people with a price of 137USD. I think its worth it comparing the price with Uber taxi for 7 of us to go here and there in Abu Dhabi. They sent Mr Shihab with a Toyota Estima MPV. Within 30 minutes he arrived and pick us up from the Hotel and our tour started. We have had a wonderful tour with Mr Shihab. He was an excellent tour guide, he knows the way around the city and he managed to show as much as he can within such constricted time. My parents are so happy which made me happy too. Abu Dhabi city is a very fascinating to visit and Mr Shihab made it possible. We went to see around Yas Island. We manage to saw Ferrari World (pass by), we visited the Yes Marina Circuit, we stroll around tall and great architectural buildings and Hotels of Abu Dhabi, We saw many luxurious big SUV car driven around the city by the arabs while wondering how much carbon released by that one person driving in such a massive car. Last but not least we visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and took pictures there from the outside. It was Magnificient.My mission completed. I slept happily all the way back to Malaysia, i was tired but satisfied. Thank you Mr Shibab
