Day 1: Dubai – Dubai Desert (D)

Dubai Desert Tours - Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your centrally located Dubai hotel. Enjoy the comfort of an air-conditioned 4X4 vehicle as you journey to the captivating desert surrounding the city. Take in the views of the stark yet mesmerizing landscape and listen to your driver’s engaging stories about the area’s intriguing geology. Your first stop is a traditional camel farm, where you can observe the majestic humpbacked herbivores. Test your balance with a camel ride around the enclosures and learn about the various camel species commonly found in the Dubai desert. Continue your adventure by 4x4 across the desert plains and try sandboarding, a popular local activity! Master the skill of ‘surfing on sand’ and compete with friends and fellow travelers down the sand dunes for an exhilarating experience. After a safety briefing, follow a local guide through the desert canyons and valleys. Then, head to a campsite nestled deep in the desert, where you’ll join other guests for a shared experience. Relax outside and enjoy the sunset over the rugged canyons and sun-drenched plains, setting the stage for the evening’s entertainment. Get a henna tattoo on your hands or feet, watch a traditional tanoura folk dance, and savor a delicious barbecue dinner. After dinner, you can smoke a shisha (Arabic water pipe) if you wish, and enjoy a live belly-dance performance around the campfire. Unwind under a canopy of twinkling stars and relish an experience reminiscent of One Thousand and One Nights! When you’re ready to retire, head to your tent, complete with a comfortable mattress, pillows, and sleeping bag, within the camp. Settle in and enjoy an overnight stay in the heart of the desert!

Day 2: Dubai Desert – Dubai (B)

Dubai Desert Tours - Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, meet your driver, and return to Dubai. Your overnight adventure concludes with a drop-off at your hotel.

Get a taste of outdoor excitement amidst the sand dunes in this 2-day Dubai desert journey. Enjoy a thrilling sand-boarding ride across the dunes. Appreciate the sunset at your desert camp, followed by traditional delights like henna tattooing and folk dancing. Indulge in a mouth-watering barbecue dinner and unwind with a pipe as belly-dancers entertain around the campfire. As the night comes, fall asleep under the starry sky.

• Pickup will be in a 4x4 Land Cruiser on sharing basis with up to 6 people per land Cruiser from different hotels.
• Children aged 4.99 years and under are not allowed to join the Tour.

• After the regular Evening Desert Safari finishes, those who have booked for our regular evening safari will depart camp and Overnight guests will stay back.
• We shall provide sleeping bags and igloo tents (2 persons per tent).The guests will have to bring their toiletries and some woolen cloths, which can fit in a small carry bag.
• All facilities at the camp site are basic and cannot be compared with any hotel accommodation.The guest will also provide emergency lamp , Camp security and Jeep drivers will be stationed at the camp site.

• Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.
• Guests visiting the UAE during the Summer months (June – September) are advised that peak daytime temperatures sometimes reach 42 – 45 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels can also exceed 90 percent during this period. We recommend all our guests to take adequate precaution.
• The Dubai desert can get cooler in the evenings during winter, so we recommend you bring a light jacket and closed shoes. Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.
• During the Islamic holidays / Ramadan fasting month,there will be a restriction on live entertainment ( Belly dance , Tanoura dance) and serving alcohol throughout the UAE. Therefore the Safari will be operated without these entertainments and serving of alcohol at the camp site during these days.
