• Al Seef - Boasting stunning views of Dubai’s historic creek, traditional dhows, and a blend of old-world architecture with modern comforts, Al Seef is the perfect tourist lifestyle destination.
• Dubai Museum & Al Fahidi Fort - Visitors to Dubai Museum “Al Fahidi Fort” can gain a comprehensive understanding of Dubai’s ancient history, which has interacted with various peoples and civilizations over time. Guests can take photos from outside, with a 10-minute photo stop available.
• Bur Dubai Abra Station - Abra, derived from the Arabic verb “Abara” meaning to cross, offers a ride on Dubai’s most traditional mode of transport. For centuries, it has been a popular means of transport, symbolizing the city’s history and heritage. Guests can capture photos of the abra area while seated inside the trolley.
• The Dubai Heritage Village - Al Shindagha, along with Al Bastakiya, is the oldest part of Dubai, established in the 1830s. Located on the Northwest shore of Dubai Creek, it borders Bur Dubai and is home to many South Asian workers.
• Union House Flag - Union House is the site where the rulers of all the emirates united to form the UAE. The tall flag here is visible from miles away, symbolizing the country’s progress and development. Guests can take photos of the Union House from outside only. There are two flags visible when visiting the Etihad Museum next to Union House: a smaller flag marking the exact spot where the UAE flag was first unfurled, and a taller one among the tallest in the country.
• Jumeirah Mosque - Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Jumeirah Mosque was constructed in traditional Fatimid style, originating from Syria and Egypt. Opened in 1979, it is a key activity under the ‘Open Doors. Open Minds.’ programs of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding. The Jumeirah Mosque Majlis, a two-story venue accommodating up to 300 guests, offers authentic Emirati ambiance with flexible setup options. Events held here include ‘Mosques of the World’, ‘Kids of Arabia’, ‘Just Kidding’, and ‘German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce’.
• Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural and Social Understanding (Head Office) - This non-profit organization promotes awareness of Emirati culture, customs, traditions, and religion among expatriates and foreign visitors in the UAE, aiming to remove cultural barriers. The house, built with coral, stone, plaster, teakwood, chantal wood, and palm tree fronds and trunks, consists of two floors. The cultural understanding program includes a Q&A session and an authentic Emirati lunch served in an Emirati house.
