A fun afternoon for little ones and parents! - The crew were fantastic with our family. Food was great and the drinks flowed. The captain gave a great performance. They played music and encouraged all to dance and have fun during the experience. Don’t expect a site seeing tour, but be prepared to have some fun.

Fantastic family fun! - What a fun family experience! We went with 4 children and 5 adults (children were 2, 4, 6 and 8 years old) and everyone had a great time. The views were amazing, the staff were attentive and the boat was brilliantly decorated. Nice touches to include binoculars for people to use too! The kids adored the pirate captain who interacted with them loads, and he played us music, as well as entertaining us some with some daring tricks climbing the boat. The hour flew by and we all enjoyed the unlimited pizza and drinks. Pizzas are cooked fresh and very tasty - it was a fab value for money morning out! We live in Dubai but this would be a great tour route for tourists too, seeing the flamingos and burj khalifa are a highlight!

Meeting point is misleading. Cruise not worth the money. - Meeting point is misleading. You arrive at some king of sales office for a construction company where nobody knows what you're looking for. Not even the valets. Then you wait, hoping that somebody shows up to pick you up and take you to the ship. But you soon realize that nobody is coming for you. Then you start to panic and look around, look at your smartphone. You find that there is a harbour nearby, but since you are new to Dubai, you don't know hot to get there. You run around like crazy up-and-down some alleys until you finally get down to the harbour. You see the ship, but how do you get to it? You have your family with you, wife and 5-year-old-kid. You run towards a small ticket sales office, it's the RDA, but the lady doesn't know or doesn't want to tell you anything because it's not her business. Finally, by chance, there is a maintenance guy that opens the door twards the floating docks and the ships. You go through, you reach the ship just in time. The crew greets like that was the natural way to meet. That is what we went through... The cruise itself was nice, interesting views, but nothing special about the ship, aside from the octopus decoration. Dated, old, regular wooden ship. You could get the same views from a RTA abra that operates on more-or-less the same route. The crew offered a (warm) can of coke and some degraded binoculars. Luckily we had our own also. When we got back they immediately started preparing for their next cruise and one of the guys went at the dock entrance door to meet and greet the group. This made me think that they hoped we got lost and didn't make it to the ship, since they had no other clients on that time-slot but us 3. Don't recommend it !

Passable pirate experience - It was disappointing to say the least. My sons were so excited, we’re counting down to get on that ship and she. We got there we were not even greeted by the “jack sparrow” driver. There was no music. We were the only 4 people on the boat. The staff looked like they were just waiting for the hour to be over. If I was a tourist I’d be even more upset, the staff do not speak of even explain the areas or buildings so not much of sightseeing tour. It should be renamed. The pizza was mediocre, soft drinks were warm. There’s no ice to be found. I think personally it was a waste of money and time especially after walking in that heat to get there.
