Great Day Out - So glad we booked this trip, we had an amazing day right from the moment Yaqub picked us up from our hotel. The desert safari was a fun packed experience including quad bike riding, dune bashing, a camel ride and a show and meal in the desert village. Our driver was excellent and very informative, we would definitely highly recommend him and this experience to anyone.

A magical and unforgettable experience - I want to give a special thanks to our guide Jakub for an amazing day in the desert. He was very warm and attentive, making sure we had a great experience. He picked us up earlier to avoid the traffic, and we truly enjoyed every moment of the desert safari. I highly recommend him and the entire tour. Everything was perfect, and we had so much fun!

Desert Safari in Dubai - Fun day in the company of Yacub, excellent driver on the dunes and very nice tour guide. Yacub has as its sole goal to make you spend an unforgettable day with a quad guide, tours in the dunes and photos in the desert, camels, exquisite buffet at the camp with typical local shows.
It was a great day and everything was perfect.

Numan is awesome! - This is a must do when visiting Dubai. With all the companies to choose from we feel we really lucked out with this one! Oscar prime Tours.
Numan was a fantastic guide! He was incredibly polite and we felt 100% comfortable with his driving skills on the dunes. We opted for Numans recommended upgrade to dune buggies. This was a highlight for our son who drove a 4-seater buggy. We had a guide for the open dunes that was very good as well. He recorded an amazing video of us in action.
Quad bikes that are included are within a very busy designated area. Open dunes quad bikes are also available and highly recommend.
Numan stopped for pictures that did not disappoint, followed by a bit of sand boarding.
Wear a head scarf to keep the sand out of your hair.
The camp was nice after our action packed day. We had good food, a couple of beers. And enjoyed the show.
Highly recommended!!!

Very good Yakub the driver- Guide ; see what you hire!! - We hired this tour based on the recommendations of this site since we were disoriented regarding such unequal prices of the safaris ... we paid for individual quad bikes and upon arriving at the circuit, we were informed that we should pay 80 dollars more if we wanted to drive through the open desert ... at no time before they clarified this difference so as a great favor we were charged “only” that difference (of the 4 we only even used 2 of the quad bikes); when protesting , we were granted a buggie rental for the family so that “we are happy “; YACUB , The guide-chauffeur EXCELLENT !! It calmed the mood but the recommendation is that they clarify the circuit issue and whatnot, the haggling and the advantage are common currency in everything; the service, dinner, camp and so on, was correct

Dune bashing was a blast! - We enjoyed some of this tour in particular our host Numan - polite and professional, a very experienced driver and extremely knowledgeable. The dune bashing and sand boarding was by far the highlight with Numan taking us to a more secluded area not overrun with other cars. Great backdrop for photos as well.
But unfortunately, this tour (and many others) has been impacted by the recent closure of several roads into the VIP camps which is causing delays and chaos as there is now only one road in and out for hundreds (and hundreds) of cars to enter and leave. Parts of the tour and timing has been amended (we did not visit The Camel Farm and arrived 1.5hrs early for dinner) with the best intentions of avoiding being stuck in the traffic jam to enter and leave the camps. I think arriving at the camp at sunset with the all the lights etc would have been a warmer welcome than trying to kill time in and empty camp waiting for all guests to arrive - which could have been quite delayed given the road situation. Considering this and the fear of being caught in a massive traffic jam after the dinner/shows we made a decision not to stay so I am not able to make comment on that part of the experience. As we drove out and saw the miles of cars banked up we felt confident we made the right decision. We had a relaxing ride back chatting with Numan about all things Dubai.
Sadly, I think given this unexpected road closure it would be better to book a tour excluding the camp dinner until it is rectified. We would have certainly lost our sense of humour being stuck in hours of traffic coming home after a long day. I would recommend Numan and his tour group but would chat with them about alternatives.

Decent, but disappointing - The tour is decent, but we didn't stick to the schedule. We choose it carefully after reading the "what to expect" section and are left disappointed.
We were picked up in a 4x4 with a driver and other 4 people in already, meaning we had to sit at the back of the car, in the boot seat section which is small and not designed for adults, so the drive was uncomfortable. We stopped at the quad bike place where we had 30 minutes of self drive quad bike ride in an enclosed big square (we pre-booked the quad bike option of the trip). It was decent fun. Driving in the desert was at extra cost of £30 per person. We took pictures with a falcon - no extra cost. We then had a toilet stop and deflated the tires. We did dune bashing, which was nice, but it was smooth and not thrilling like some other ones we did in the past. We stopped in the desert for sand boarding and we had 2 sandboards for about 12 people meaning everyone could only go once in the designated 20 minutes slot. The driver took some great shots of us in the desert while others were taking their turns sandboarding. We made our way to the camp, which appeared to be a bit of a drive away. We got there for just after 5pm and were offered the camel ride, two people per camel, in a small enclosure. It did not look appealing to us plus the sunset time was fast approaching so we decided to skip it. We did note that the camel ride took only about 5 minutes, which is shorter than advertised. We went to the other side of the camp to see the sunset. Important note that we were supposed to be in the desert for the sunset, yet we were at the camp and the view was disappointing. It was one of the most important elements of the trip to see the sunset in the desert and it didn't happen. We were asked if we would like to leave early to avoid a traffic jam later on to which we said ok - we thought there is no point sitting around, better to avoid traffic. We were the first people at the camp and we waited for two hours there with nothing to do. There were free hot and soft drinks on offer and you could get a small henna for free. Free shisha was only available on a shared basis in front of the stall and if you wanted to take it to the table you had to buy it. So no shisha. The buffet food was great, a lot of choice and it was very tasty but very chaotic as everyone was let in at once. Then there were shows. We saw the belly dance show and were asked if we want to go now to avoid the traffic as discussed, however that was before the other two shows took place. We were never told that if we left early we would miss two of the shows, so everyone decided to stay, however the attempt at manipulating the guests to leave before the end of the itinerary, which everyone paid is not appreciated. Full information should have been provided at the time of discussion. The shows were enjoyable and we are glad we stayed. We were then stuck in the bootleneck at the camp and reached the hotel at 11pm. Overall it was decent, but not as advertised and I would look for other option next time.
