They waited for us :) - my boyfriend and I went today to the ferry that leave you at the island, at first we had it at 12 but the weather was so bad that I called and they change it to 3pm no problem! As there was a festival in Howth we were actually 15 minutes late but the guy at the dock called back the boat for us! it was very nice of them and we were so lucky they got us there, the guys in the boat were also very nice and helpful! we could actually make it to the island and we were grateful we got the change, the weather was good and the place beautiful,, we will be back, hopefully next time will be on time! :)

breathtaking nature - The boat tour to Ireland's Eye is a great experience, where the importance of nature and animal welfare is visible! With weatherproof clothing and curiosity about great views and picture book feeling, it's just the right experience!

Great way to spend half a day - We booked the tour that dropped us off on the island. We enjoyed the whole experience. They narrated some facts on the boat ride over and back. We were allowed to explore the island on our own. I would recommend this tour and I would go again.

Needs a short message about exploring the island without causing damage to the island - Amazing island and views and highly recommend a trip out, but be respectful of the wildlife and paths. Saw alot of people going off the paths and causing distress to the animals and destroying nesting areas. The audio on the boat needs to include a short message on respecting the island and its inhabitants and following the rules. Its so sad to see a beautiful island like this is covered in rubbish and essential habitats trampled by people ignoring signage

Pre-recorded, no Puffins, no island access, teen staff - Bland, touristy experience; No staff interaction, pre-recorded message that’s hard to hear and lasts 4 x 1 minute. Ad and ticket state you can get off on the island, but when I inquired the teenage staff stated “that’s not possible, maybe with a much more expensive ticket”. No Puffins; If they’re ever there it would be May and a bit of June. Don’t waste your money on this tour.

Disappointing and misleading experience - 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes (this was justified when the remark was made by "the wind that increased the speed of the boat"). No seals in sight. Extremely disappointed.

Sailed around Ireland eye - They seemed to pile too many people on the boat and you couldn't move much to see the sites. Plus they did not complete the tour as they said it was too windy

DO NOT BOOK - Worst experience ever. Would rate 0 if I could. A hazardous accident waiting to happen! They will leave you on the island waiting without coming to get your for hours. We witnessed them put elderly people and kids at risk. No drinking water, no shade, no first aid, no contact. They allowed a 7 and 8 year old to get off on the island alone and allowed 90 year old to get off of the boat and struggle/fall up the stone steps without offering help. We witnessed people desperate enough to get back to Howth to jump off of the cliffs into the front of boat.
