Best tour guide from dublin - Extremely fun tour, the tour guide, pat, the best tour guide i’ve ever had. He is so friendly and relaxing with his voice. He also makes subtle jokes that put a smile on your face. I 10/10 recommend this tour.

Mac is a top notch tour guide, guaranteed a great day. - We had a fantastic day with Mac (Dermott) seeing the area outside of Dublin. Mac is an amazing story teller, and a true wealth of information. Any query we had was answered immediately. He even entertained us with many songs- what a sweet way to spend the day. With stops in Glendaugh and Kilkenny, and stories about all towns in between, it was a most magical day. Even wet weather couldn’t dampen our day Martin was our driver, and maneuvered the tight country roads like he was driving a Ferrari!

Wicklow/Kilkenny/Sheepdog exhibition = highly recommended (esp. if Michael is the guide) - Tour was excellent. Booking online the night before was easy and itinerary was well-designed with ample time to explore at Wicklow and Kilkenny, and the sheepdog herding exhibition was surprisingly awesome too. The driver/guide Michael was a highlight of the trip--kept everything running right on schedule while navigating narrow roads and providing informative/funny commentary on our destinations and Ireland in general. If you take this tour, definitely request to have Michael as your tour leader.

Friendly and... - Dave was a friendly and extremely knowledgeable guide, beautiful countryside, and overall pleasant experience in Glendalough and Kilkenny. The sheepdog experience was a late addition to our booking and worth the visit.

Tour was good - not fabulous but the stops were interesting and the bus comfortable - This one is tough to rate - it's a bit between 3-4* and mainly because of events prior to the tour. Here's the gist: We booked Cliffs of Moher with another company, turns out it is owned/operated by Paddywagon. The tour was booked in December, it was cancelled 3 days prior. Ok dokey, no worries - there are spots with another company for a similar tour so with 48 hours to spare we book a similar Cliffs of Moher trip with company #2. Well, turns out that company is also owned/operated by Paddywagon and with 36 hours notice that one too is cancelled (why oh why was it still being offered on the website of company #2? We will never know.....) So we then booked this tour (with 12 hours to spare) with Paddywagon. Sorry - long story that was a huge pain in the butt but overall the service and communication re:cancellations was prompt and attentive. That is a +. So we undertook an adventure on this tour....First stop was in the Wicklow Mtn - very nice. Our guide was funny, informative and enjoyable. He gave us a mini walking tour when we stopped and sent us on our way for an hour of wondering on our own. Lovely. Next stop was a sheep dog demonstration - very cute, quick stop. Final stop was Kilkenny - the itinerary noted we would get a mini walking tour and then 90'ish min on our own....lovely. Except the walking tour didn't happen. Just kind of threw us out to wander on our own (OK but us frankly but others...not so happy). We will give that little blip a "-" as it was not quite as advertised. Then we returned to Dublin. Long story short...the tour was good. Not amazing-blow-your-socks-off, but good. Paddywagon irritated us with the last minute cancellations (that were still listed on the website) but their communication was prompt and they refunded the full $ after I requested to receive the booking fees, etc on top of my tour refund. Would I do this again? Maybe......so while I'm feeling this is a 3* tour we will give it a 4* as I don't want to discourage others but also might provide some encouragement to shop around for a tour company.
